By DonnaD, on Tue Nov 3, 2009 8:57am PST

Recently, a decision was made by me to rejoin the Human Party.  Many Americans seem to be forgetting that we are human beings and as such we are very unique with  complex language usage, a remarkable sense of self awareness, and we are capable of introspection. … Read More »

By DonnaD, on Sat Apr 11, 2009 5:48pm PDT

This miracle is about being held hostage at knife point by a lady who turned out to be a man.  A lady that I gave a ride to in the 80's, turned out not to be a lady but a man who robbed me and held me hostage for 45 minutes while contemplating my murder.  Believing that… Read More »

  • Miracles of My Life

By DonnaD, on Tue Mar 31, 2009 11:48am PDT

I have had miracles in my life beginning at the age of 5 when I awoke next to my Godmother who had died during the night with her arms around me.  I will always cherish the fact that she loved me so much and when she knew she was dying, she got out of the bed with her husband to die next to her… Read More »

About This Author

I am a 54 year old writer and poet who resides in Dallas, TX. I began writing poetry and lyrics at the tender age of 13. Believe it or not, the first song I wrote was a hit that is still played today. I never received acknowlegement for the lyrics, but continued writing. Writing has always been therapeutic for me and has seen me through some tough time. I am the mother of two adult sons and the grandmother of two grand daughters, who I adore.
