About This Author

I started practice in general dermatology in 1982, and have continued to the present, though for the past 15 years have developed an interest in cosmetic dermatology. I’ve listened to the requests of my clients, and have responded. There are a lot of ‘practitioners’ out there who purport to be experts in cosmetic issues, but most do not have the training, appreciation, or understanding of the skin that a fully trained dermatologist has. I am that, plus have taken extensive training in the cosmetic procedures I offer, by the world’s experts. Purchasing my first laser in 1982, I was trained by Leon Goldman, MD (Cincinnati, Ohio) who has been thought by many to have been the ‘father of medical lasers’. Since then, multiple lasers later, I now teach doctors from all over the US how to run effective cosmetic practices. I’ve always loved the practice of medicine. I’ve been a doctor to the ‘stars’ and many famous people, have many letters from grateful patients who say I’ve saved their lives, or have made a significant contribution to their quality of life. Cosmetic medicine is ‘happy medicine’, where disease is not involved, but desire for a better, younger, more natural look is very much at stake. Fortunately, technology has caught up with requests for help. I can actually deliver what clients want, with high value, and with expertise. My biggest reward is in seeing the happy faces and hearing the appreciative words of those I’ve been privileged to help, and whose lives have been positively changed as a result.
