Meditation as a practice is considered to have begun over 6000 years ago, and is a practice that takes many varieties of form in the present. Some meditation techniques involve focussing on the breath, such as Vipassna , while other practices advocate chanting of a mantra such as Om to focus the mind and keep it in the present.
These meditation practices are passive and take a lot of practice, although the benefits of mastering these specific types of meditation are long lasting and profound. These types of meditation are usually considered more spiritual than other types, although you can certainly practice these methods without a spiritual inclination.
Other types of meditation are more activity based - my sister meditates every day while washing dishes at the kitchen sink, as she allows her mind to de-focus and relax and finds this very soothing. There are also practices such as dynamic meditation, which involves shaking the body vigorously and making spontaneous sounds,Read More »from How Can Meditation Assist in Pain Management?

I must have been about 13 when my father and I were taking a drive and I mentioned to him something about life being fair…or needing to be in my opinion. He looked right at me as he always did when he wanted to impart some worldly wisdom and asked me whoever said life was supposed to be fair? I was very surprised, as I certainly did believe at that point that life was indeed supposed to be fair. I can't think of a more prominent arena for the concept of fairness to be played out than when it comes to siblings.
However, I have learned that as a parent treating kids equally is plain unrealistic: they come packaged with different temperaments, interests, and needs. So don't drive yourself too crazy trying to make things always fair. It just isn't realistic. Besides, real life really isn't fair. The trick is to minimize conditions that break down sibling relationships that can cause long-lasting resentment. Plan - A Four-Letter Word, but Not a Dirty One
Small business owners hear the words marketing plan and automatically think, "That is something that big businesses do." In reality, they should be thinking "that is something that smart businesses do". Marketing plays a key role in the success of any business, regardless of its size. And a phased, actionable marketing plan is what helps to ensure that your business is building long-term, profitable relationships with its customers. So why wouldn't you have one?
Think of it this way - you would consult with a lawyer if you were having legal troubles, wouldn't you? You would consult a CPA if your business was facing an audit, right? So why for so many small and mid-sized businesses does marketing become an afterthought and developing a plan is ignored? Marketing is too often a side project that you spend some time thinking about once a month or so. That is not to say that marketing needs to equal a great deal of money to seeRead More »from Marketing Plan - It's Not a Dirty Word

The first type of vehicle I will discuss is " hatchback ", I strongly recommend this type of vehicle for young families that still have a bit of a family member. Vehicles of this type are generally quite lean and is approaching the kind of city car as an everyday activity support. Indeed for this kind of vehicle capacity issues can only accommodate at most 4 to five passengers only, but if you are indeed small families seem to be of this type are very suitable because you really don't
