On Tuesday, September 25, Janelle Monáe will take the stage at Club Nokia L.A. Live for an intimate concert experience as part of SMWLA.

Partnering with Social Media Week, which coincides with a week of socially powered activities, tickets to the show will be promoted via Promojam through social channels where interested attendees will be encouraged to contribute to a virtual playlist of their favorite songs from the Nokia Music app in order to secure their seat. While, I love sunshine, I am not used to a whole lot of it. In Houston, Texas there is not only frequent thunder storms but also really high humidity. Seattle gets less rain than Houston then due to the altitude we are scorched here...

Some of my neighbors get just about naked when it is sunny in Seattle! That's just how much they get into it...can't really say they are natives behaving this way...The natives of Seattle really are into the gray weather but they can handle it better.

I've been a sports fan since I was a kid, and living in Boston now has made it fun and easy for me to continue following teams I love. I grew up in a town that had lost its NBA franchise and did not have a major league baseball team so I have adopted the Celtics and Red Sox as my own.
