Rose' wines could be the most misunderstood style of wine ever. Are you reading this and frowning - thinking, I don't like rose? Are you a rose' fan? Perhaps, a rose' convert? Ah, rose' a delightful picnic and warm-weather sipper welcome at my dinner table, deck and picnic blanket most any time.

There is a common misconception that rose' wine is syrupy sweet. But rose' wines come in a variety of refreshing styles from bone dry to fruity, sweet and savory. They can be a bolder than white wines, yet more restrained and subtle than red wines made from the same varietal (grape) - showing cherry, strawberry and raspberry flavors. Rose's are typically served chilled and are the perfect picnic, BBQ or dinner partner with everything from surf to turf, spicy Thai, ketchupy burgers and your favorite pizza or sushi.

What's makes rose's such a great and versatile wine food is its natural acidity and the residual tannin from the winemaking process. Most

  • I've lived in Florida my whole life, and the sun has taken a toll on my skin. When I was asked to try and review L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream, I jumped at the chance, because this is a product I've been thinking about buying anyway.

    What it Conceals and Reveals

I used the number 814 Medium tone. The 1-ounce tube of product has a super-fine applicator tip, which made it extremely easy to apply small amounts of cream to a specific trouble spot, which for me is directly under my eyes and around my nose. I've been treating melasma (dark skin pigmentation) under my eyes for the past few months, and the skin tone is still uneven, with the added problem of being dry and easily irritated. Typically, I use a vitamin E moisturizer before applying corrector and then try to blend it into my foundation -- a time-consuming process that's both messy and inconvenient.

The L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream takes care of that problem easily because it combines the pigment with

  • Despite being a full-time working mother of two young children, I never leave the house without makeup. I may skip other important parts of a morning routine (sometimes I forget to apply moisturizer), but I never go without makeup on. When I was introduced to L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream, I was unsure of what to expect. Could this product really hydrate, prime, perfect, and correct (as the label claims)? After a trial run in my busy weekday schedule, this product pleasantly surprised me!

Rarely does a makeup product hit the market that is truly different. Each time a new product comes out it often seems to be similar as the other products already available. L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream is an honest to goodness new, cosmetic product. When I first squeezed a drop of the BB Cream onto my fingers it almost looked like an exfoliating scrub. The cream contains tiny beautifying beads that contain pigmented liquid. I applied the BB cream all over my face. The liquid

  • With three children, three part-time jobs, and a husband and a house to maintain, I need six simple things from my beauty regimen. If new items don't meet the bar, they're quickly tossed to the curb. I recently received the opportunity to review L'Oreal Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream. Would this manage to work its way into my five minute beauty routine, or would it end up in the trash as quickly as it walked in the door? I put it to the test by checking it against my "simple six" criteria.

    Finish

Unless I'm fresh off of the beach, I don't like heading out without at least a little makeup on. It doesn't have to be heavy (it rarely is) but I like to feel finished. I want the least amount of make-up possible to make me feel comfortable as I get out the door. L'Oreal Paris BB Cream helped me achieve that finished look without adding time to my routine or overdoing my look. I put it on, added my blush and lipgloss, and felt confident and finished leaving the house.

    Ease

  • As a 30-something mom with my fair share of skin issues, I have difficulty finding a cover-up that is both light enough to wear every day and hides my skin's imperfections. Thankfully, I have discovered L'Oreal Paris Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream.

As a teenager, I suffered from acne and oily skin, something that, in addition to a few dry spots, occasionally still plagues my skin. What's more, I have very fair skin with several dark splotches as a result of years of sun tanning and subsequent skin damage. Finding a lightweight makeup that matches my natural skin color, evens my skin tone, moisturizes my dry areas, and covers my flaws without caking or settling into pores is difficult.

When I first tried L'Oreal Paris Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream, I noticed a few things right away. The cream comes out a whitish color with a grainy texture but easily smoothed over skin when applied. It instantly moisturized my dry spots and covered the dark circles under my eyes and the
