  • Spain's sparkler Cava is a superb aperitif and dessert treat that won't bust the piggy bank. A succulent summer sensation that is a bright, citrusy delight, offers crisp apple freshness that's a patio or picnic-sipping favorite.

Meaning "cellar," Cava is Spain's alternative to Champagne. Similar to Champagne, Cava uses the "Champenoise method" for production and must undergo a secondary fermentation in the bottle. This creates carbon dioxide aka: bubbles.

Available in vintage and non-vintage, it is categorized by sweetness and aging - ranging from Extra Brut (bone dry) to Sweet. While standard Cava must spend nine months fermenting, "Gran Reserva" must age for at least 30 months in the bottle.

Cava is tends to be a tad earthier and less frothy than its French cousin. Unlike Champagne, which is produced from a combination of white and red grapes (often Pinot Noir and Chardonnay), Cava is made from solely white grapes, giving it its unique ab-fab flavor. Also, You can

BYOB is one of my favorite ways to dine. Not only do you get to bring the wine you want to sip, it's a fun adventure figuring out the perfect selection - and you save money for that second date.

Finding the right wine should be fun, not a chore. It's like being a detective. All you have to do is gather and sort clues. Let's Go!

    • · Where to go for dinner? A fun choice is Thai food. Not only won't it bust the piggy bank, but the menu offers a wide selection of sweet, spicy and savory.
    • · How to select a wine: First, decide how much you want to spend. Be honest. What price range fits comfy into your financial situation or dating desires? Set a dollar limit and most important, stick with it. Don't let a pushy salesperson sway you to go for the "better," more expensive bottle.

  • Love is a crooked word because is has gone misunderstood for generations to generations. Love is always looked to be the most perfect, loving, word and an example of perfection with a great feeling that capture the heart of many men and women. A word that can be easily said than done, or even used to lie and scheme to get what one person want, out of a person, vunerbility for the use of a negative purpose.

Love is an misconcept because it has become based on condition and unconditions has been exempt. Love has been created unconditionally because it was given to everyone no matter what the circumstances or the heart or mind of the person. It was made to share in truth, honesty with a greater need of sincere compassion. Love has a deep rooted need to live for self as well as others to feed from the knowledge, and understanding of who you are and how you have developed as a human being.

But, allow me to speak about the self inspiration. Self is built from your self motivation, self

  • The total heat and electric needs of the world can be successfully met by skillfully utilizing the rubbish human society generates each year in their homes and industrial and commercial establishments. In the present rates, the world's garbage can produce electricity equaling that produced from 10000 million tons of coal. Garbage of the world consists chiefly of kitchen waste, textile waste and paper which can be converted into fuel for homes and industries. Most of the plastic and metals can be recycled and reused. The remaining solid waste with the help of modern sophisticated machinery is treated in special plants constructed for that purpose. Vibrating screens sift out organic particles which are then sold as manure for land in agriculture. The still remaining portions are used to make land fills. In London, West German cities and New York, hundreds of plants burn 4 million tons of refuse each year, heat water, produce steam, and supply electricity. One New York plant alone

  • Catch Up!

It's been awhile, so let's catch up...
I started my "Critical Care" career at the end of March 2012. I'm on a Cardiac step down unit or IMU, (intermediate care unit). Small, 7 beds total, 2 nurses, (one Charge that takes 3, and the other nurse takes max 4).

Cardiac...vast, huge, LARGE SUBJECT. And NO, I am NOT feeling it. It's hard. The people are nice, helpful. Of course, every unit has its bad eggs. I've been fortunate to have been pelted by those eggs on each shift.

I'll make 6mos at the end of September. I'm in the process of deciding my next move. Love the small department, hate the cult of personalities: the know-it-all; the bipolar charge, and the above it all tech. Trying to find my happy place. Don't want to leave the hospital, too many years invested and it's hard to get on at another system without going through that PBDS crap. So, I'll stay where I am system wise for now. Thinking of going agency within the system: make a crap load and work only 2 days a week!

    Happy

I always recommend that you get a 15- or 30-year fixed mortgage-even if you are planning to stay in your new home for only a short while. You never know what may happen in your life, and you want to know that you have a safe and consistent mortgage payment every month for the life of the loan.

Once again, I am dating myself, but I am willing to suffer the label of old age if it saves you from financial ruin ten years from now. Interest rates do not always hover around 5 and 6 percent. Oh, no. It may seem unbelievable to you today, but I remember buying a property and being thrilled that I was able to lock in a fixed rate at
