• My job requires a lot of writing and while I have no problem putting together a good email, when it comes to blogging I freeze up. Maybe it's the stress of having your writing out in public or maybe it's the intimidation of working alongside some of the sharpest writers/editors in the business. Whatever the case, these blogging tips and best practices give me the tools (aka confidence) to blog. I hope they'll help with your blogging hurdles.     This week I went to Texas. It is soo great. They have great towns, great restaurants. And more! They have lots of places to shop. They also love football. GO COWBOYS! It is a great place to hang out! but to warn you it is very humid! But you can get a great tan! So when you are thinking to go on a vaction I suggest you go to Texas!

    Why is there so much paperwork everywhere. I have been going through all my paper for months now. I get rid of some, I find otheres. It does not even make sense. I recycle, thanks goodness. Thats my only solace. At least those lovely trees did not go down in vain.

    The day was originally known as Decoration Day because the day was dedicated to the Civil War dead, when mourners, mainly women, would decorate gravesites as a remembrance.

    A beautiful place! I stayed near Portuguese neighborhood.


    It was great to eat Portuguese food, have a Portuguese breakfast at the local bakery shop.


    A great time and close to home. A long Time I needed to feel and experience my Portuguese roots.
