It's not every election year that our food supply makes its way on to the ballots. However, rarely is food a political issue. This year the issues of genetically modified foods and the labeling of these foods has become an issue of citizen's rights and and human welfare that goes in to the hands of Californians next week. We want to make sure all voters know where they stand and learn more about this issue that, if passed, will affect all Americans.
Californians will vote for their Right to Know on November 6.
Genetically modified organisms (or GMOs) are plants or meats that have had their DNA altered in a lab. These organisms have been altered in order to grow a product that might resist pesticides within its own tissue, may yield bigger crops, heartier fruits, or withstand an odd climate despite it being unnatural and completely experimental. These type of organisms are very common in the US, more so than most consumers are even aware of. The majority of corn, soy, cotton, and sugar beet crops grown in

Wreck-It Ralph (2012) Movie Online Free
Summary:Wreck-It Ralph (voice of Reilly) longs to be as beloved as his game's perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix (voice of McBrayer). Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes... so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Lynch), Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan -- win a medal -- but soon wrecks everything, and accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph's only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Silverman), a young troublemaking "glitch" from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it's "Game Over" for the entire arcade?

By Ashley Petersen | Author Blog Posts – Tue, Oct 30, 2012 2:46 AM EDTWhat is the best way to pay off my debt? That is probably the most important question you can ask yourself if you are serious about reducing the dollar amount of your debt. The key is not in trying to do it so fast that you struggle with other finances but to develop a plan that helps you gradually and efficiently increase your financial resources.
Faster is Not Always Better
While it may seem if you pay off debt faster you will be in better financial shape, this may not necessarily be true. I made that statement to one of my co-workers who insisted I was nuts. He didn't understand why he had to take his time when he was so anxious to get out of debt. Have you ever thought about it? Yes, it sounds good, but in reality the reverse is true-at least for most people. Think of it like a diet: are you more successful when you lose weight fast or lose it slowly? The key is developing a new way of doing things, and you can't do that if you speed through the process.

By Ashfaq Rahman | Author Blog Posts – Tue, Oct 30, 2012 2:14 AM EDTMeditation as a practice is considered to have begun over 6000 years ago, and is a practice that takes many varieties of form in the present. Some meditation techniques involve focussing on the breath, such as Vipassna , while other practices advocate chanting of a mantra such as Om to focus the mind and keep it in the present.
These meditation practices are passive and take a lot of practice, although the benefits of mastering these specific types of meditation are long lasting and profound. These types of meditation are usually considered more spiritual than other types, although you can certainly practice these methods without a spiritual inclination.
Other types of meditation are more activity based - my sister meditates every day while washing dishes at the kitchen sink, as she allows her mind to de-focus and relax and finds this very soothing. There are also practices such as dynamic meditation, which involves shaking the body vigorously and making spontaneous sounds,

By Parentingbookmark.com Online | Author Blog Posts – Mon, Oct 29, 2012 3:16 PM EDTI must have been about 13 when my father and I were taking a drive and I mentioned to him something about life being fair…or needing to be in my opinion. He looked right at me as he always did when he wanted to impart some worldly wisdom and asked me whoever said life was supposed to be fair? I was very surprised, as I certainly did believe at that point that life was indeed supposed to be fair. I can't think of a more prominent arena for the concept of fairness to be played out than when it comes to siblings.
However, I have learned that as a parent treating kids equally is plain unrealistic: they come packaged with different temperaments, interests, and needs. So don't drive yourself too crazy trying to make things always fair. It just isn't realistic. Besides, real life really isn't fair.
