      BLAKE LIVELY/Wagner Az/PCN Photo & TAYLOR SWIFT/Dario Alequin/INF Photo

Some dresses are made to be photographed. The color is pure, the shape is bold, and the construction is flawless. This cobalt Tibi dress fits that bill, no?

Looks like these two share more than blonde hair, blue eyes, and a statuesque build. Blake Lively attended a taping of "The Today Show" to promote her movie "Green Lantern" back in June wearing the flirty frock, pairing it with some funky leopard shoes and a sexy, tousled hairstyle.

Taylor Swift stepped out in NYC en route to a radio show taping in the same dress, but added a skinny gold belt and light blue bow heels.

Who do you think nailed it? My vote goes to Blake because 1. she is one of my personal style icons and 2. because Taylor's interpretation is too cutesy and, well, cutesy is not my thing.

    • Do you want to beat the heat in style?

Of course you do. The heat out there is OPPRESSIVE. Your clothes shouldn't be. When the temperature rises to scary tangible and thick levels, we all just want to be as unencumbered as possible. Less is most definitely more, you guys. Here are five fashion items you won't regret getting your hands on.

Either buy or pull from the depths of your closet the lightest, whitest, and breeziest thing you can find. Bonus points if it's slightly structured on top and you can go bra-less (if you're in a, um, position to go bra-less). White is great because it reflects light instead of attracting it, like black. Also it does a great job of showing off a tan (achieved naturally using a high SPF or faked; never from a tanning bed, of course).

      QUIKSILVER dress, about $40.

Get a hat. Pull it down low over your eyes and relish in how much shade it brings! And how much more mysterious you feel and look.

      SWELL panama hat, $26.99.

Same concept as the dress; bare as much skin as possible. These sandals are chunky enough in design to anchor a floaty,

    • Style Sameness From The Men Of “The Change-Up”

The "Change-Up" is the new movie in which Ryan Reynolds (Mitch) and Jason Bateman (Dave) switch lives in order to see if the grass is really greener on the other side. For Dave, a married father with twins, the grass, in this situation, is Mitch's sexy single life. And vice versa. From what I can tell from the trailer, the two friends relieve themselves into a fountain, lightning strikes, and BOOM - - each man wakes up as the other; then hilarity, I assume, ensues.

In real life, Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman actually have a lot in common. Off the top of my head: they are incredibly handsome, good with comedic timing, and sometimes style themselves similarly. They're practically the same person! Kidding.

Jason & Ryan In 3-Piece Suits

Yes, they're different colors, and yes, Ryan is wearing a tie; but, 3-piece suits are a rare menswear pleasure to behold!

Gosh, I love a grey suit. Styled with crisp bits of black is nice, but rugged brown is nicer.

    • 7 Reasons We Love Mila Kunis

      Stephen Lovekin/WireImageStephen Lovekin/WireImage

For me, it was "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." I was in awe of her long surfer-girl hair, her impossibly tan skin, and that raspy voice. Did you, too, maybe develop a bit of a girl-crush on Mila Kunis? Did you maybe obsess over her tiny and adorably retro outfits on "That '70s Show?" Thought so. This
week, you can catch her alongside Justin Timberlake as his best friend-turned-love interest in their new, hilarious movie, "Friends With Benefits." 'Til then, here are a few reasons why we just can't get enough of Miss Mila.

      1. She has the best. hair. ever. Sorry, that's pretty vain. But it's true! It's always so long and lustrous, and it gives us something to aspire to. This is a helpful how-to on getting Mila's hair look from the  "Friends With Benefits" premiere.
      2. She was asked out on a date via YouTube by the  handsome Marine below - - and ACCEPTED (at Timberlake's urging, but still)!

    • Fashion We Can't Get Away With, But Celebs Can

Let me just say before we get started that I am all about everyone pursuing their own unique identity in style and in practice. It's always fun to emulate the looks of our favorite celebrities, but it's even better when we add our own, special flair. These days, Hollywood is like a magical lens through which we see fashion; a questionable outfit in the real world, thrown on a famous person and, even better, seen on the red carpet, becomes flat-out acceptable. Celebrated, even! I encourage you to find and flaunt your own taste, but you should probably stay clear of the following choices.

Peter Kramer/AP Peter Kramer/AP First Lady
      Michelle Obama
appeared on the "Today" show yesterday
to talk to Matt Lauer about a number of issues, including President
Obama's job performance and the fact that he now has quit
      smoking. She also dispelled
rumors that her husband dyes his grey hair
and spoke about not letting her daughters on the social network site Facebook.

But, in the fashion world, the big news from Mrs. Obama's interview was her choice of dress. The first lady wore a breezy, feminine, polka-dot piece, not from some fancy big-name designer, but off-the-rack and available for $34.95 from Swedish company H&M.

Here is the original H&M dress, which is currently in stores. The first lady's version was customized with longer sleeves. Here is the original H&M dress, which is currently in stores. Mrs. Obama's office said her stylist customized the look by adding three-quarter-length sleeves and pairing the dress with a bold orange belt (in lieu of its original red cloth sash) and bright yellow heels.

Though lately she's been making a splash in higher-end designs, like the Alexander

    • Can you guess which A-lister was spotted without make-up?

Left: A bare-faced Sofia on her way to get her hair and make-up done. Right: Sofia emerges looking polished and glam on the set of

Behold the power of make-up! We spotted Sofia, a natural blond (really!), on set in New York filming "New Year's Eve," looking almost unrecognizable.  Without her signature voluminous locks, sunkissed skin and vampy make-up, we had to do a triple-take! Her long locks were uncharacteristically dull and flat, and her skin appeared to be WAY fairer than usual.  And her on-set look (a cutesy ponytail and flirty make-up) is different for her. The verdict? Miss Vergara's beauty knows no boundaries.

"New Year's Eve" is the hotly-anticipated sequel to Garry Marshall's "Valentine's Day" and also stars Katherine Heigl, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Biel, Ashton Kutcher, and Robert De Niro, among others. With this all-star cast, it's sure to be a hit---but Sofia's the one we can't wait to catch.  If her acting chops are anything like that on "Modern Family," we're all in for quite
      the treat!

    • Fashion and Grooming Items to Steal from the Boys

While wearing menswear-inspired clothes can be a highly attractive look (see: Katharine Hepburn), what we're suggesting here is to try stuff marketed to men ONLY. Thinking outside the box is a great way to shop and create a unique, personal style. Tired of being pigeon-holed into a specific, too-delicate demographic that still idolizes "Sex and the City," and obsesses over flowers and hot pink? This trend is for you. Whether it's as simple as trying a new body scrub or as bold as wearing a chunky men's watch, it's fun to blur the gender lines.

    • Gaga's Interesting Outfit Choice for Yoga Class

PacificCoastNews.comPacificCoastNews.comWhat, did you expect Lady Gaga to get photographed in
Victoria's Secret sweatpants with PINK emblazoned on the
butt and an old college t-shirt on her way to a work-out?

The increasingly bizarre songstress left her Taipei hotel to
      attend a yoga session in - - what else - - a
full-body black and gold lace catsuit and platform patent
leather Frankenstein boots. A full face of make-up
(including blood-red matte lipstick), two-toned hair
extensions, dark sunglasses, and a large, gold chain to
secure her mat completed the look.

Do you think she changed into something a bit more
comfortable/appropriate at Pure Yoga? Or, do you think
she rocked this offensive ensemble throughout the class?
Do you even care, or has Gaga basically just become a
caricature of her former self? Let us know.
