Julianne Moore Whenever an actress over the age of 40 sits down for an interview, it's inevitable that the topic of her age and her beauty tips for looking good come up. For Julianne Moore, this is unacceptable.

"Men aren't asked about age," the 52-year-old Moore recently pointed out in an interview with DuJour magazine. "Men aren't asked about their children. Not that these things aren't important, but I do feel like it becomes reductive when a woman's life becomes, 'Talk to me about your kids and how you feel about plastic surgery.'"
Her own approach toward getting older is pretty matter-of-fact: "Our fear of aging is really a fear of dying; aging is a physical manifestation of decay, and I think that is what's so upsetting to most people," she says in the interview.
As a spokesperson for L'Oréal Paris, Julianne's comments may seem a bit hypocritical (she does, after all, promote

Diary Of A Chemical Peel The idea of a chemical peel is scary - maybe because it sounds so much like "chemical burn." But after hearing about the benefits a chemical peel can have for skin - unclogged pores, even tone, an acne-free complexion - I knew I had to try one. Whether your goal is a major makeover, like eliminating fine lines and wrinkles, or as simple as preventing breakouts, there are numerous peels to choose from, ranging from deep (many layers of skin) to light (more surface-level). Word of caution: Peels work best on pale complexions. Darker tones should stick to very mild peels so discoloring doesn't occur. Since my main concern is some acne along the chin, I decided to try the Clarify Peel (for clearing oily skin or acne) from the Jan Marini Skin Research Marini Peel System. The peel, which contains salicylic acid and mandelic acid, is one of the less harsh variety and has a recovery time of 3-5 days. Jennifer Aniston stepped onto the red carpet with cupping marks on her back. The first time I learned the term "cupping" was in 2004 when Gwyneth Paltrow showed up in photos with what appeared to be circular hickeys on her back. Recently Jennifer Aniston turned up on the red carpet with similar marks, piquing my interest once again. After all, if cupping was good enough for two of Brad Pitt's exes, then it must be good enough for me.

Cupping is not exactly new. It's an Eastern medicine practice that is often used in conjunction with acupuncture to treat everything from stiff necks and shoulders to respiratory problems. The belief is that when you have these problems, it's caused by blood that's stagnant, and the cupping helps get your blood circulation moving, not unlike a deep tissue massage.
I wasn't worried about testing out the treatment until a co-worker asked me if they would be doing something called blood cupping (the name alone scared me!), a process where an
