- What child doesn't love Cheerios? I just bought some for my toddler for the first time a few weeks ago, and she is madly in love. But then, while I was browsing Pinterest, I noticed a Cheerio cake, and I suddenly wondered if this classic breakfast cereal could be used for more than just part of breakfast. Turns out it can! Check out these 10 amazing recipes. I might need to buy a few more boxes. - By Janssen Bradshaw
Working out with Baby!Having gone to my second exercise class with my littlest recently, I thought the hardest part was over. Before that, each time life got in the way I had pondered (sometimes over ice cream) if I should just put it off a little longer. Contacting the instructor and actually going was no easy feat.
And still, that was much easier than what came next: the feelings that hit me, the exhaustion, the sore muscles, the numerous questions that ran through my head. Was I really going to be able to do this? I know I want this. I need this. But can I keep showing up?
Today Lola and I showed up again. And I know each day will be an exercise in mind over matter. Each day, I will have to remind myself why I am doing this. The BIG picture, not the "I really want to rock my skinny jeans again" picture. I am talking about the "I really want to watch my children grow and be an active participant in their lives, rather than observing from the sidelines" picture. I want me being healthy and taking

Lessons in motherhoodBee will be turning one later this summer - a milestone that marks endings and beginnings and seasons anew - and I've been feeling increasingly reflective. Our days are slow but climbing quickly - a rollercoaster car approaching the first hill, ready to crest into oblivion as we hold on for dear life. And I can't help but shake this sense that, on the other side of the hill, time speeds faster. Moments will blur into days and days into years as we attempt to clear our head and gain our footing and enjoy the ride before it's over. So today, I choose to pause and reflect on the many lessons I've learned in my short ride as a passenger in the motherhood rollercoaster car:

By Disney Baby | Parenting – Fri, Jun 14, 2013 3:51 PM EDTThere is certainly something magical about watching a baby sleep. When my girls were tiny, I loved being able to plop them down just about anywhere and watch them nap. Sometimes, they'd stretch out and do funny things with their hands. Sometimes they'd scrunch up and snuggle in close. When I came across the work of Adele Enersen, I fell in love. Her photography is so creative and unique. She has two books out: When My Baby Dreams and When My Baby Dreams of Fairy Tales. Click through to see some of her amazing photo styling. - By Lacy Stroessner

By Disney Baby | Parenting – Fri, Jun 14, 2013 3:41 PM EDTI am always intrigued when it comes to how parents choose their children's names. EVERYONE has a story, and I prefer to hear those rather than the birth story. We have all asked our parents at some point why they named us what they did, and our children will do the same. All parents have that "A-HA" baby name moment, and it can come from the most unexpected places - a book, a TV show, a celebrity or a popular brand. - By Maria Jose Ovalle

50+ sweet baby names inspired by summer! While looking for baby names, I remember falling in love with quite a few nicknames only to realize that I couldn't stand their more formal version and felt like I needed to nix the name because of it. Well, I'd like to think that sometimes nicknames make the best baby names. Here are 30 nicknames that have great baby name potential.

5 simple and easy ways to add pops of color to baby's room The funniest thing about having an all white and beige, neutral nursery is the ability to add fun pops of color whenever and wherever I choose. Pops of color keep the nursery bright, cheerful, and anything but boring, and when done sparingly, it still keeps the room calm and subtle. With all of our furniture being pure white, including bookshelves and window coverings, and beige carpet, bright doses of color all around the room also keep it feeling playful and well, like a kid's room! Here are my favorite ways to add bright splashes of color throughout the room.
1. Crib Sheets:
Fresh, new sheets are a quick and inexpensive way to add bright doses of color throughout the room. It's fun to experiment with different patterns and colors. And since most crib bedding sells sheets separately, you can really have fun switching things up a lot. My baby drools a ton too, so our sheets get pretty stained pretty quick, so it's a fun, yet much needed, change we make every couple of months.12 Things You Don't Realize Until You Have Your Second Baby

Nothing will entertain your child like her sibling Tomorrow, my second child turns six months old, which means I've now spent half a year as a parent of two little children.
Here's are some truths I've learned:
1. You WILL love your second baby just as much as your first.
I wasn't sure if it was possible, but she's proved me wrong. I love her so much my heart wants to burst wide open.
2. It is a rare night when you aren't woken up at least once.
My baby isn't sleeping through the night yet, but my older child, who has slept through the night since seven weeks old, now often wakes up in the night disoriented or frantically asking if there are tigers in Texas.

3. You will feel like the most capable person alive when you go grocery shopping by yourself with two children.
And you will look at people with three or more children and wonder if they have super powers.
4. When your older child sees your snuggly new baby, they might decide to get a little snugglier themselves.
