Supermodels Reveal Their Thoughts on Aging Beautifully

Find out tonight on HBO at 9p.m. Eastern time, by watching the documentary "About Face: The Supermodels, Then and Now". The documentary, directed by fine art photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, follows supermodels like Beverly Johnson, Jerry Hall, and Isabella Rossellini into their post-runway lives, with a series of candid interviews about their careers, aging, and their perceptions of beauty. A New York Times story on the doc quotes Isabella Rossellini as saying that she knows her, "social status has diminished," and she now recognizes that, "as you grow older, you don't count anymore." However, many of the models, Rossellini included, find a great deal of beauty and grace, even in their later years. We rounded up the good, the bad and the ugly of model quotes on beauty, aging and the various means to accept your years or combat the perception of them.
