    • Fashion that Makes Us Sad: Floating Shoes

New Jeffrey Campbell floating shoes. Photo courtesy of Solestruck.comWe love flats. We love heels. But we're confused by flats that are magically converted into heels with clear plastic. Enter Jeffrey Campbell's Upend and Float wedge heels. They're like the mullet of shoes: business up from party in the back.

Upend is a black oxford shoe with a Lucite heel that sells for $174.95. They're currently sold out on Solestruck.com but Karmaloop has a few pairs up for grabs. Float is a lace-up jelly shoe also with a Lucite heel. available in green, black, or clear plastic selling for $144.95 on Solestruck.com.

Simone Rocha perspex brogues cost $1.075. Photo courtesy of Opening CeremonyThink they're absurd? A rip off? Here's where we must mention that these Jeffrey Campbell clear heeled shoes are direct knockoffs of Simone Rocha's designs, which sell for $1,075 at Opening Ceremony. Someone manufacturing these shoes at a mass market level so many women can (and unfortunately will) buy them? Now that really makes us sad.

    • Pippa Middleton Wears Duchess Catherine's Engagement Dress

Kate Middleton and her sister Pippa love Issa wrap dresses. Photos by Getty Images and WENN.This weekend Pippa Middleton attended her friend Camilla Hook's wedding in a dress that looked extremely familiar. The knee-length silk jersey wrap dress is, in fact, the same Issa
frock her sister Catherine wore for her royal engagement announcement back in November 2010.

We scoured the internet for the Issa Forever dress, and realized it has been renamed. Net-a-porter.com is selling a Royal Engagement silk-jersey dress for $555 in poppy red. It is currently sold out in all sizes except size 8. MyTheresa.com is selling the dress in pomegranate (we believe that's the color Pippa wore) for $536. It's currently available in sizes 6 and 8, but all other sizes have a waiting list.

The Issa wrap dress is a universally flattering style the accentuates curves and a narrow waist. Both Duchess Catherine and Pippa accessorized with basic black pumps. They really are style sisters!

While perhaps Kate Middleton's photo was a more memorable occasion, the wedding Pippa attended was a remarkable

    • Trangendered Miss Universe Canada Contestant Takes the Stage

Jenna Talackova competes in Miss Universe Canada. Photo by REUTERS/Mark BlinchAfter much controversy and a rule change, the first-ever transgendered contestant competed in the Miss Universe Canada pageant in Toronto on Thursday night. Jenna Talackova, 23, is from Vancouver, and though she was born male, she underwent sexual reassignment surgery four years ago and was allowed to compete. According to the Daily Mail, Talackova was one of 62 women who strut their stuff in evening gowns and bikinis on stage for a panel of 15 judges. The winner will be crowned on Saturday.

This androgynous fashion model poses as both a man and a woman

Talackova was much taller than the other pageant competitors. Photo by REUTERS/Mark BlinchBack in March, Talackova was in the finals of the Miss Vancouver competition when pageant officials kicked her out claiming she lied about her natural-born gender on her application. But there were no apparent rules on sex change operations—the only requirements to enter the Miss Universe Canada competition are that contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 27 and have Canadian citizenship. In retaliation, over 20,000 people signed

    • Fake Brad and Angelina Wedding Pictures

Brad and Angelina lookalikes got married. Brad and Angelina lookalikes got married. Did Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie already tie the knot? Nope, but you may have believed otherwise if you've see these fake wedding photos making the rounds. Artist and photographer Alison Jackson is known for creating intricate hoax scenarios, including a 300-photo spoof of last year's Royal Wedding.

This week Jackson turned her lens on some Brangelina lookalikes who staged a replica of the wedding of the year. The actress playing Angelina Jolie had a similar statusque built, plump lips, ached brows, and blown out brown hair and wore a chic ivory wedding gown. The actor posing as Brad Pitt was tall and slim i his gray suit rocking Pitt's current chin-length blond hair and signature shades.

Up close we can tell the difference, but these two actors are excellent lookalikes who could easily fool the eager paparazzi.

Nice day for a faux weddingFrom a distance, the fake Brad and Angelina wedding looks pretty convincing to us! Knowing the secretive couple, real wedding photos may never surface, so we'll just gaze at

    • Would You Vajazzle Your Hair?

Hair Vajazzles are a real thing!Bedazzled cell phones scream "Real Housewives." Rhinestone-studded clothing looks out of date. Vajazzled and pejazzled private parts? Also old news. The new craze in crystal studs is HAIR VAJAZZLING! Yes, that's really what it's called. But we have one question: why is it called vajazzling if it has nothing whatsoever to do with a vagina?!

If you can see beyond the terrible name, Hair Vajazzles are now available for $13.45 a pack. They are the creation of British reality star and model Amy Childs, who dressed up in a Britney Spears-inspired outfit for the launch. The hair vajazzles attach to your hair in strips with the use of a flat iron. Just apply the studs or hearts to your hair, iron for five seconds, remove the backing, and you're good to go. But let's hope you really, really like those hair vajazzles, because they stay in your hair for 3-10 days.

These crystals can be ironed into your hairWhat do you think of Hair Vajazzles?
