I'm sure that most women can relate to the fact that we would all like to lose a few pounds! There are thousands of diet plans, scams, drinks, pills, and books out there that claim to be the best diet going, however, none of them seem to work. What does it take? Hours in the gym? Not eating? Eating right? Eating right and exercising? What's the key to success?
I'm 28 years old, go the the gym 4-5 times per week, and consider myself to be a pretty healthy eater, with an indulgence of ice cream or a brownie every now and again. I've been about 150lbs now for probably the last four years and can't seem to get under that number regardless of how much more I exercise or eat healthy. Again, I'm sure many can relate.
My one friend from high school introduced me to this product Advocare and the Advocare 24-Day Challenge. This "plan" includes real food, along with meal replacement shakes, an herbal cleanse, energy drinks, and some supplements. Its purpose is to "jump start" your diet and rid

So here's my deal...any feedback would be great!!
I'm 26 years old and I just so happen to have TONS going on in my life right now. My fiance and I just purchased a home, I'm getting married in October and just found out that I'm accepted to the Doctoral Program of my dreams. One problem: going to school full-time is extremely intensive and I don't/won't have time to work a full-time job for 3 years. I personally don't have many bills, but I do need to survive and help with the mortgage. I occasionally sell things on eBay, which is a great way to bring in extra money, but does anyone else have any ideas? I don't live in a huge city... but I need to do something to make some extra $$. Over the summer I have classes daily from 4:30-9:30 and during the fall/spring I have classes M-T-W from 5-9:30. Thanks all!!

So I just went to the gas station, filled up my car and spent $59.00!! I know that everyone is feeling the pain that I'm feeling. Since the government is doing nothing to help, myself and a few others have devised a plan to force businesses to lower the price of gas. Hear me out.....Read More »from Gas Prices and What We Should Do to Help LOWER THEM!!
The market is consumer driven, which means we are in charge to an extent. It is also based on supply and demand.
If each county, state, etc. started taking action in their own way, little by little, companies would be forced to lower gas prices. Here's the plan:
Pick a gas station in your county/community (Sunoco, BP, Valero, etc) and let everyone in that area (by facebook, twitter, word of mouth) to not go to that gas station or mini mart. For example if you pick Sunoco, don't purchase gas or ANYTHING from the Sunoco station. If lottery ticket sales stop, no more coffee or breakfast sandwhiches are purchased, no milk, drinks, eggs, cigarettes, etc. along with no gas, that store is going
So I just need to vent and get some reader input on this. I'm in a wedding this spring. The bride is already married. She had a small ceremony about 2 years ago "just to get married" and is now having an "official wedding, shower and reception." The first time she got married people got her a few gifts just because, even though she didn't have a shower. Now that shes having her "official" wedding she is having a shower. She doesn't care about the wedding or the shower. It's a show to get money and gifts. Period. For her shower she has registered for her gifts and for her wishing well has asked for money. She has also registered for her honeymoon. This whole thing has me so frustrated b/c to her it's a big money making scam!!!! Not to mention the wedding gift. So essentially, for someone that is already married, those invited (about 500 ppl) are paying for a shower gift, money for the wishing well, and a wedding gift. Does anyone else think this is insane???? Comments please!!Read More »from User post: What Are Weddings Coming To Nowadays?

Hi Everyone... So here's my story. Please give me your advice, suggestions, anything would be appreciated. I just turned 26 years old. I'm engaged to me married to an amazing man in October, 2011, I have a wonderful family, good friends...Sounds like everything you can ask for but for some reason I feel like a loser and I think I'm sort of depressed. I went to school an attained both a BA and MA in Communications Studies (public relations, mass media and rhetoric). Where in live in PA, there aren't many jobs available in that field. I currently sell advertising for our local newspaper and I hate it. I have my resume out to over 100 different employers all over the country, I've had a few interviews but cant seems to find another job. It makes me miserable and I think "what if today was my last day on this earth would I be happy with what i'm doing" and my answer is absolutely not. I also teach at a local university which i LOVE doing and starting next fall, I'm going back to school forRead More »from Can't Find a Good Job Causing Depression Please Comment

HI Everyone!! I don't know how many others are in the same boat as me, but I've hit the point where I absolutely cannot stand my job anymore. I'm an advertising sales executive for our local paper and I'm just done with this job---only problem is--I've been searching and cant find anything else, so I'm still here. I'm smart, educated (BA and MA in Public Relations/Mass Meda) and can't find a thing. It's sooo discouraging. Thinking about coming to work makes me miserable. Being at work makes me miserable. I really feel as though it's putting a black cloud over my entire life and I don't know what to do about it. I cant just quit b/c obviously I need money and insurance. I just don't know what I can do in the meantime. I'm going back to school in Sping 2011 to attain my PhD so I can teach at the college level full-time (I currenly teach as an adjunct prof. at a college by my home and love it). And advise or tips is appreciated!!!!

Hello! So as you may or may not know, I'm 25 years old and up until today I was in credit card debt up to my eye balls. Here's a summed up version of my background: I have a horrible shopping habit and can never have enough shoes or purses. It all started back in 2002, when I was introduced to the King of Prussia mall and the Coach store. From that point on, a horrible shopping habit started to the point I would just buy things to buy them and then days later look at the item I purchased and wondered why in the world I would buy something like that? The addiction started at Coach and worked it's way up to Gucci, Louie, Fendi, etc. It wasn't just purses I was buying, it was shoes, shirts, pants, party tops, candles, just about anything. This past October, after cleaning out my closet(s) I realized that I have way more clothing than I need and most of my purchases were impulsive and I was left with piles of clothing with tags on them and some great shoes and bags. Now I'm growing up andRead More »from I'm getting out of debt and I'm blogging about it to help me through!! Join in!!!
