Back when I was a freshman in high school I met a young man: cute, talented artist, tall, great smile - a senior. We were in theater together and had a few friends in common and I could tell that he liked me, but he was 18 and I was 14 and we knew that there was NO way it would ever work out. We remained friends, I saw him every year when he came to see me perform in the spring musical, but it was not until after my senior year of high school that we actually reconnected.
