With nail trends erring on the side of nominal after a Spring show circuit that made nude varnishes the polish protocol of the season, we're trying to adopt a less-is-more mentality with our manicures. Handing us its Fond de Teint complexion correcting stick, Marais explained that he planned to take a little artistic liberty with at least one model in Gaultier's eighties tribute band. "I'm going to give her skin a blue-black tint," he said, motioning to a tearsheet of Jean Paul Goude's 1981 Blue-Black in Black on

With its tropical, luHearts & Starssh green landscape, Hawaii is the epicenter of natural scents and salves. From the popular Kona Red antioxidant-boosted energy drink and skin-soothing mango "butter buns" to a few local niche fragrance lines from brands like Saffron James, the Aloha State has plenty to offer when it comes to primping. And while Paul Mitchell's fully sustainable, solar-powered Awapuhi farm has been the big hair story on the Big Island for the past 20 years, stylist Jason Harsin is fixing to make his mark in the business of beautiful locks. After struggling to find a product range to help his clients replenish the protein that's often lost when hair is exposed to sun, sand, and surf, Harsin created Hearts & Stars, a two-piece offering that launched last month. The second thing you'll notice about the sulfate- and paraben-free shampoo and conditioner is their impressive olfactory attributes; essences of eucalyptus, tea tree, and sage disperse a fresh scent as you
