Italian women and their girlfriends-they stroll arm-in-arm through the streets, talking about their families or what went on that day, or their plans for tomorrow.
They laugh, shop and walk their dogs together, taking time to really know one another. They have the relationship thing down, from the time they are young until they are very old-they spend time in "girl talk," don't get in a hurry, and listen. I am fascinated by the women of Italy, and how they interact with one another.
Every generation values their female relationships--elderly women and their widowed friends, mothers and
daughters, grandmothers and granddaughters, women my age and their best friends--all stroll along at a leisurely pace, really paying attention to what the other is saying and not caring what anyone thinks about them.
Deep friendship and caring, true interest in sharing each other's ups and downs.
What is it about our culture that makes our girlfriend relationships so different?

1. Think about money differently - not scarcity thinking. If you think you don't have enough the energy then starts to manifest that exact thing.
If you think you have enough and it's not showing up fast enough then you are getting distracted with your consistent thought of having enough. The more distracted you are the more you'll fall into the trap of scarcity and lack mentality.
Work on your beliefs that have stemmed from parents, failures, co-workers, etc to overcome those limiting and self defeating beliefs and you will have more than enough - no matter what you do.
2. Money is power - the only power money has is what you give it.
3. High risk involves high return - maybe but truly knowing and following your intuition is the best internal clock and asset you have for risk and reward. The key here is to not let fear keep you from taking a risk. Ensure you are on top of your game on this one.
4. Debt is bad - well this one is all about how you deal with debt. Do you use itFall 2011 Fashion Colors: Painterly & Romantic

Two Fall Colors: Bamboo & Coffee LiqueurWhen you walk through a department store, browse the mall, or shop online each season, you'll notice major trends in colors that hardly seem coincidental. The hues of fashion items in any given season appear to huddle in particular areas of the color wheel, regardless of where you shop.
How does this happen?
Do the big-shots at Macy's convene to decide which colors of clothing to sell that year?
Is there seasonal convention where online retailers vote on their favorite colors?
Nope. Each season's colors are determined by a single company: Pantone, Inc. The self-proclaimed "authority on color," Pantone's seasonal color palette is determined by select world-renowned fashion industry leaders.
Designers take into consideration the economy, technology, and the "needs, moods, fantasies, and aspirations of consumers." The colors in the palette of each season- be it spring, summer, fall, or winter- uniquely meld together to evoke a particular theme or idea.

Adolescence describes the transition from childhood to adulthood. Because this has been viewed as the healthiest period of life, many people mistakenly assume adolescents have few health care needs. Not true!
Though many teens remain healthy others develop significant health challenges like diabetes, eating disorders, depression, and hypertension. Many also develop dangerous behaviors.
Teenagers need monitoring for healthy growth and development just like infants and toddlers. Important growth and development occurs during adolescence. In addition to the physical changes of puberty teens also experience mental, emotional, and social changes. Adolescent well child care (WCC) helps monitor youth for problems during this time of major change. It also assists in establishing habits that will facilitate a healthy lifestyle in their adult years. Ideally, a primary care doctor trained in adolescent health provides your child's WCC.

Born into a very traditional Chinese family in Hong Kong, I was the second daughter of parents who were desperate for a son. Then my mother gave birth to three boys and cemented my position at the bottom of the totem pole. With three younger brothers I grew up an unwanted, neglected and abused child in a culture where dirt was more valuable than a useless second daughter.
My one blessing was the name given to me by my grandfather. A very unusual honor for a Chinese girl, he named me Hay Lit after two respected Chinese emperors. This proud name empowered me to grow up believing that someone in my family cared about my future and inspired me to think that one day I could do something important with my life.
I knew there were other children who were much worse off than I. One of my schoolmates and her family of five lived in a single room where they shared a kitchen and bath with two other families. With both parents working, my friend still didn't have proper clothing or

Summer is my favorite time of the year. The days are long, the weather is great and people tend to balance work and play better than any other time of the year.
It is a great time to work ON your business not just IN it.
More than half the year is behind you so you have a good sense of how you are tracking against your budget and plans.
Here are a few ideas to take advantage of the slower pace of summer so that when September starts you are ready to hit the ground running.- Conduct a "listening tour" of your current and prospective customers to find out what they want, what they already have and any gaps that exist. The more I travel, talk to people, answer their questions about raw foods, I find that there is a block or a challenge when it comes to eating more raw foods. Most of the time, people have bought into the myths of a raw foods diet and therefore they avoid it all together.
Once when I was in Chicago, one woman told me that fresh food costs too much money and she could only afford to eat canned fruits and vegetables. So here are the 7 Myths of a Raw Foods Diet and the Real Truth of a Raw Foods diet .
* Myth #1 - A raw foods diet is too expensive.Everything is perception and at first when you eat more raw foods, it may seem expensive because you are shopping more for fresh, organic, local produce or because you are buying different equipment and tools for your kitchen and different pantry items to concoct your recipes , but you can actually save money on a raw foods diet . Chronic inflammation is a risk factor for a host of serious illness, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoarthritis, and Alzheimer's disease. Even though these diseases affect millions of us, according to a recent poll from Nutraingredients.com, most consumers are still in the dark about this common condition.
Our body's natural defense system
Inflammation is a natural biological process and a key component of our immune system. When sentinel cells located throughout our bodies detect the presence of a harmful object such as a bacteria, virus, or parasite, our immune system immediately triggers an inflammatory response-a cascade of histamine, cytokines, white blood cells, mast cells, and other weapons designed to seek and destroy the offending invader.
In the case of acute inflammation, this process begins and ends quickly. If you've ever had a splinter or stubbed your toe, the pain and
