Hey everybody,

It's great to see so much user content, but we're getting the feeling that you think you have to submit to a category in order to get your post visible.

That's not so: If you submit your post to "Only My Blog" you can write about anything you want, your post will still be visible to the Shine community, and it will still show up in "Chatter on Shine".

You should only select a category when your post is a great match for one of the Shine channels and you want the channel editor to consider it for featured placement.

We also have you, and amazing women just like you, who are sharing their personal stories and offering support. You'll read blogs that will make you laugh, cry, and most importantly, think.

So while you're joining in the fun, keep these simple guidelines in mind:

* Speak your mind, but be polite and respectful in dealing with others
* Add your own photos and videos, but respect the copyright of others
* Feel free to link to anywhere on the web that doesn't violate our Terms of Service

Not to sound like an overly proud new parent, but I've been checking out the work of our editors
and staff and have to tell you - Shine ROCKS! Chock full of sassy, stimulating content, Shine is here to make our female lives richer, easier, and whole lot more fun! And who doesn't want that?!
Take a look around and start sharing your thoughts. Leave comments, subscribe to favorite bloggers,
and most importantly, start blogging!

Keep in mind that we're still under construction and are aware of some issues. For example,
it may take a few minutes between when you edit a post and when your changes are displayed.
But don't let that stop you from blogging. :)
