When I spotted Jessica Szohr wandering around Chris Benz's fall 2011 presentation yesterday afternoon, I had to stop her to talk about one of my absolute favorite subjects: The wardrobe on Gossip Girl!
She was looking simultaneously sexy and cute in a sheer embroidered top from Chris Benz with a sliver of black bra peeking out from underneath, and she was more than happy to indulge my breathless questions. First up? Her favorite outfit Vanessa has ever worn. "I think it would be this green Diane Von Furstenberg dress that we put over jeans. With a pair of Christian Louboutin shoes, which is ridiculous because um, Vanessa could never afford those!" I also just haaaaad to know if they get to keep the clothes they wear on the show, like the Sex and the City gals did. "Well, it's hard because we don't always know when we're going to have to reshoot a scene," she said with a knowing little smile. "So you know, sometimes we have to hang onto stuff for a

You may think to skip over this post if you're single this Valentine's Day, but don't you dare! Every woman, regardless of her relationship status, should throw on a sexy little number once in a while.
Lingerie is one guilty pleasure I left out of my intro post as I decided we should probably get to know each other a little better before we strip down. But now that we're a bit better acquainted, let me show you a sneak peek into my "secret drawer"-well, almost!
My lingerie drawer is well equipped with different styles for different moods, and then of course, all of those outfits fit my personality. Let's just say I never go to bed wearing sweats. Here's my breakdown:

When I think romance, I think satin. Coating my skin in a satin babydoll like this La Perla Romance Babydoll is effortlessly enticing.

Joan Jett made a cameo, safe sex got sexier, and we were wowed by some of the most insane shoes to ever hit the runway...check out four interesting things that happened at New York Fashion Week yesterday!#1: Joan Jett made a fashion week cameo. Okay, so we didn't actually spy the "I Love Rock 'n Roll" badass sitting front row, but her likeness was everywhere at Gary Graham's presentation. He cited her as major inspiration, and sent models out wearing mullet-style wigs and Converse sneakers that called to mind her early 80s rock-chic look.

#2: Safe sex got sexier. The girls behind Vena Cava teamed up with Proper Attire to design condoms that were left in every goody bag at their show yesterday. Even better? Proceeds from the sales of the condoms benefit Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

The fashion world has always had a thing for gender bending, from Annie Hall's signature tie to Miss J. Alexander's lessons for walking in high heels, but this season at New York Fashion Week, adoration of androgyny is reaching a whole new level.Meet Andrej Pejic, a thoroughly male model who's enjoying quite a bit of mainstream success in the world of womenswear, thanks to his strikingly good--and undeniably feminine--looks. When he first appeared on Jean Paul Gaultier's spring 2011 runway, editors everywhere were wondering, "Who is this pretty blonde girl?" He's since become the face of Marc by Marc Jacobs, wore a wedding dress to close Gaultier's couture show, and is officially the poster boy for modern-day androgyny in the fashion world.

When we showed you dolls a sneak peek of Crystal Renn in the spring Jimmy Choo ad campaign back in January, your comments ranged from surprise with her recent weight loss--"She looks good, but she's definitely not 'plus sized'"--to praise of her beauty, regardless of her size: "She is beautiful. I don't care what her fashion size classification is." She addressed just this issue in a recent interview on the Ford Models blog, and I'm curious what you gals think about her response.

I found it really interesting that she said it wasn't the industry, or her agent, or even herself who put any pressure on her to lose weight--that in fact, the most pressure she feels is from the public and the media, and it's to maintain her plus-size weight: "I feel pressure probably more than any place from the public and the media. I think by placing a title on my head - which is plus-size - and then the picture that these people haveDesigners Share Their Would-Be Careers With Us!

We're just days away from New York Fashion Week, dolls, which means designers are busy putting the finishing touches on their fall 2011 collections...but if they weren't holed up in their studios creating right-this-minute fashion, what would they be doing instead? We asked a few of our favorites to weigh in...
We'll be bringing you inside scoop from New York's biggest and best designers all week as we prepare for the fall collections--including sneak-peek inspiration images of their brand new stuff!--and we kicked things off today by asking a slew of style setters, "Other than being a fashion designer, of course, what would your dream job be?" And here's what they had to say...
Betsey Johnson: "Broadway showgirl, Icecapade-ette, or Cirque du solei-ette!"
Yigal Azrouel: "Surfer." (Um, we'd like to see that too!)
Carly Cushnie of Cushnie et Ochs: "An actress."
Michelle Ochs of Custnie et Ochs: "A detective."

Sorry, STFers that double as football fans: I gotta admit that I usually spend the Super Bowl blabbing away during the game then yelling at everyone to zip it during the commercials. But that doesn't mean I don't still love the fun of watching the game over at a friend's house--and of course, getting dressed up for the occasion with a bit of festiveness. So since I do indeed have a Super Bowl party to go to this weekend, I'm taking some cues from the girls at Styleist on how to get my outfit on board with the sports spirit- without going overboard (or worse, buying something I won't wear again!)
Here are my top 3 picks for an easy outfit that's totally repeatable any Sunday, not just Super Bowl Sunday...

We all experience nights, whether restless or reckless, that quickly turn into mornings where we wake up looking just a little less than alert. But as the story goes, when that alarm buzzes, it's time to get up and hide our tired eyes. I got the scoop from Physicians Formula Celebrity Makeup Artist, Joanna Schlip, on how to look alert with a few makeup tricks.
1. Line the top of your eye three quarters of the way starting where the color of your eye begins and take it out to the spot where the crease in your eye ends. Creating a thick line on the top gives the illusion of fuller lashes, which opens the eye. Try Physicians Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum, $10.95.
2. Trace a soft, thin line underneath your lashes on the bottom of your eye. Make sure you avoid the inner rim. It will only make them appear smaller.
3. Smudge a highlighter or a shimmery eye shadow underneath your brow bone and place a tad in the inner corners
