    • 3 Ways to Give Your Bustline A Little Oomph

When I wrote about how to flatter a big bust last week, commenter momwfaith said, "Ok, we've talked about the busty girls. How can us not so well endowed chicks make em look bigger? I do padded bras, but want some real va-va-voom for date nights with the hubby!" Prepare for some fireworks on your next date night, doll! Great news that you've already made BFFs with padded bras--just like minimizers for busty gals, they're an absolute must-have! But if you want to do even more to work with what you've got, you can take a few cues from some of our favorite flat-chested celebs...

    • 3 Things You Never Knew About The Rachel Zoe Project's Brad Goreski

      By Tracey Lomrantz, Glamour magazine

If you've spent more than, oh, 30 seconds here at Slaves to Fashion, you know that our love for The Rachel Zoe Project is worthy of a Shakespeare sonnet, and that her former-assistant-turned-style-director Brad Goreski would be one of the first ways we'd count how we love thee. But we bet you didn't know these three little tidbits about the modern dandy!

With this weekend's publication of a New York Times profile on the Rachel Zoe employee, Brad's moment in the fashion spotlight has officially arrived. We've always loved him for his dapper style, his cute and clever Tweets, and his ability to deflect Taylor's verbal barbs with graceful rolls of the eyes. But Ben Widdicombe's profile dug deeper into the man behind the Poindexter glasses and discovered a few things we never knew about him:

      1. He wasn't always such a style stud. He may be inspiring a lust parade these days with shirtless photos taken by famed photog Terry Richardson, but years ago

    • How to Make Your Summer Dresses Wearable For Fall

      By Lauren Tardanico, Glamour magazine

Fall is my favorite season of the year, but it truly pains me to pack away my summer dresses that have only had a few short months of opportunities to be worn. And although not every summer dress you own can be easily transitioned from wearing on a 95 degree day in July to a 60 degree day in September, chances are if you look closely at your closet, most of them can!

This may look like a skirt and a top, but it's not! It's actually a loose-fitting sleeveless tank dress that I wore by itself all summer, and this morning, threw it on like normal, belted it (this is key when wearing a sweater over a a dress as it pulls the lower half together, creating the faux skirt) and added a sweater on top.

I've found that this trick works best with dresses that don't have a structured shape or waist as you want something that will lie flat under your sweater. And what about those sparkly or metallic dresses that are too fancy to wear to the office? It works

    • 5 Date Outfit Ideas From New York Fashion Week

      By Susan Cernek, Glamour magazine

We've chatted about what to wear with stripes, put out an alert on spring's hot new color, and even found a super chic way to wear a basic, boring button-down. But that doesn't mean we've totally forgotten to try and solve of the most daunting wardrobe riddles of all: the perfect date outfit.

    • 3 Spring Accessories You Can Start Wearing Right Now

      By Susan Cernek, Glamour magazine

I'm not talking about getting all disposophobia about these (anyone else watch A&E's Hoarders?!) spring accessories, but smart shoppers will stock up on these classic add-ons before they become officially cool and the prices for them skyrocket (or worse, your little sister starts wearing 'em non-stop before you get a chance):

Put big wrap-around obi belts (inspired by the sash-like belts that traditionally cinch Japanese kimonos) on the top of your shopping list. You can either go with a classic, decorative style like those spotted on Carolina Herrera's runway (fab for making a button down and pencil skirt look like a million bucks)...

...or you can do a bigger, more sculptural leather version and get into a '70s groove like Marc Jacobs did (pictured above).

I played shopping fairy and tracked down a few obi belts that are on sale now: Click here to check out what I found.

Next on your list? Big bangles, and lots of 'em. You've got to love this

    • Gossip Girl Stylist on the Spring Runway Fashion You'll See Serena and Blair Wearing

      By Tracey Lomrantz, Glamour magazine

Our obsession with the Gossip Girl wardrobe is reaching new heights this season, as the girls flit around Paris in to-die-for couture gowns and cute and quirky ensembles that you'd have to be a.) A French girl or b.) Blair Waldorf to pull off. So when we ran into the show's stylist, Eric Daman, at last night's Mulberry party, we just had to ask what we can expect next season.

My first question for Eric: Are there any pieces you've seen on the runways over the past few days that you're just dying to dress the cast in? "I loved the Jenny Packham show," he told me. "The gowns, I mean! We have so many scenes where we need gowns, so it's just so perfect. They did couture daywear for Blair, couture eveningwear for Serena, and I'm just loving it all." The designer is no stranger to the show--Serena will wear a Jenny Packham dress on the upcoming Fashion's Night Out-themed episode--but the spring 2011 collection (above) looks like it's even more

    • How To Wear A Brightly Colored Boyfriend Blazer

      By Lauren Tardanico, Glamour magazine

With this morning's talk of orange on our spring fashion horizon, it got me thinking: I need a colored blazer. I always see girls on the street looking cute in them (I'm talking the longer cut boyfriend-y ones...cropped versions just don't do it for me) but when faced with actually wearing one myself, feel like I can't pull it off. If you're like me and have a fashion fear of the colored blazer, constantly sticking to your reliable neutral versions, today's your lucky day because we've got the scoop on exactly how you should wear it:

I can't tell exactly what she's wearing underneath this blazer, but I think that's just the point. The bright color makes it such a statement piece, that what's underneath should be minimal and virtually unseen. From the bottom, it looks like a shirtdress, but from the top, looks like a basic tank and mini. Either way, both options work!

I do have to point out that if you're going to recreate this look at home, make

    • Whitney Port On Her Don't Moment, The #1 Spring Trend, And How To Become Her Intern

      By Jenny Feldman, Glamour magazine

When we caught up with her backstage minutes before her spring 2011 Whitney Eve presentation, designer Whitney Port was cool, collected and totally adorable, wearing a spring 2011 jumpsuit of her own design. She spilled the beans on her favorite styles from the line, the worst outfit she's ever sported in public, and more:

According to Port, every girl needs to stock her spring closet with prints, prints, prints. (Might we suggest some of these happy, peppy ones?) Her own spring label features not one but three: an abstract geometric one, a ferris wheel one and a feather pattern. Love!

After fawning over all the pretty clothes and models, we asked Whitney to divulge her biggest fashion Don't ever. She didn't waste a second before answering: "It was an orange dress and brown suede pointy toe boots I wore to an event for Clinique's Happy perfume three years ago. I matched the perfume top!" (Check out the look here!) Port also acknowledged that what's

      By Susan Cernek, Glamour magazine

While there doesn't seem to be a whole lotta color goin' on on the spring 2011 runways (mostly nudes and grays, like Tracey pointed out yesterday) the non-neutral hues that have popped up come in the form of happy, peppy, can't-help-but-smile prints like these...

The new-ish thing about these spring prints is that the aren't big, in-your-face-florals but they're not itsy-bitsy either--instead, they are swirly (like Peter Som's marbled designs), bright and festive. They're just fun:

Meanwhile, Jason Wu turned out these flirty little French polka-dot dresses. Granted, there's no such thing as a French polka-dot, but if there were, don't you think it'd look a little something like this?

Zac Posen's kooky, fruity prints (fruity as in bananas, not as in "B-A-N-A-N-A-S!") were maybe the most fun of all the spring prints so far. For his new Z Spoke collection, he partnered with cheeky British illustrator Daisy de Villeneuve to create whimsical prints like

    • And The Award For Fashion Week's Most Star-Studded Front Row Goes To...

It's a good thing I had a chance to go backstage and check out the clothes at Tommy Hilfiger, because I confess that I spent practically every second of the runway show gawking at one of the biggest concentration of A-list celebs I've ever seen in one place...

Susan, Jenny, and I had the most perfect view of Tommy's insanely star-studded front row from across the runway. I'm talking (from left to right), Kristen Bell, Lenny Kravitz, Benny Medina, Jennifer Lopez, Bradley Cooper, Christina Hendricks and Neil Patrick Harris...

...and Rebecca Romijn, Jason Lewis, Jessica Szohr, Ed Westwick, and Kidada Jones...

Seriously, it felt like I was in the pedicure chair reading US Weekly...with moving pictures! I also spotted Kimora Lee Simmons and ex-husband Russell sitting next to each other and laughing, chatting, and looking like the poster children for amicable divorce, and The City star Olivia Palermo (with her new short 'do) exchanging runway critique with serious fashion journalist
