And when you finally are ready to whip off the towel and blow dry, try to do it in a less-humid place in your home versus right

      1. When in doubt, wear black. "Most of the time, I dress depending on my mood," Kate says. "I just throw on whatever I feel like wearing at the time, which tends to come from the palette of black, grey or red. If I'm having an off day, I'll wear full black." It's a formula I've long stuck with myself, because it always looks put together, makes you feel your sveltest, and requires very little thought!

      2. Don't overdo it on the accessories. "Wearing too many accessories at once can

The official start of spring is still a few weeks away, which means most of my warm-weather clothes are still in storage--but the thermometer hit 66 degrees in New York yesterday, which meant I had to get clever about transitional dressing, and I think I found the perfect solution...

Y'know that maxi dress you live in all summer because it's comfortable, chic and one-piece mindless dressing all at the same time? You can make it work just as hard for you in these in-between-season months by throwing a simple crewneck sweater on top! It'll give the appearance of a flowing skirt, but you don't need to buy another piece to make it work. Plus if you stick with all dark neutrals (a black sweater, ankle boots, and leather jacket, if it's chilly), you can get a bit more adventurous with your print. And if you're feeling totally bold, mix your patterns by adding a striped sweater on Read More »from Instantly Transition Your Wardrobe from Winter to Spring

The look hasn't exactly gone mainstream yet, but apparently enough men are interested in svelte-ifying and staying warm that demand has increased, and hosiery specialist Emilio Cavallini tells WWD that his recently-launched just for dudes line is doing pretty well. "A growing number of men have been buying tights at emiliocavallini.com since a unisex collection was introduced in June 2009, said Cavallini. Purchases by men account for 2 to 3 percent of the company's annual production of one million tights," reports the paper.

Neo gets attacked after becoming totally distracted by a woman in a scarlet dress on the street, and it turns out, he's not the only one whose mind turns to naughty thoughts when he sees red. According to a new study conducted at the University of Rochester and recently written up in ScienceNow, "Men rate women wearing red clothing as being more interested in sex, hinting that humans may be conditioned to associate the color with fertility."
