At 83, Vidal Sassoon, the original celebrity hairstylist, is as active and sharp-witted as ever. His documentary, Vidal Sassoon the Movie, is currently out in limited release, and his autobiography (which he penned himself) is set to be available in the US in April. And after 65 years in the business, he's still "got it" with his slightly flirtatious personality and keen sense of humor, making it practically impossible not to be charmed by the handsome octogenarian. When referred to as "Mr. Sassoon" on a recent call, for instance, he immediately quipped, "Everyone calls me Vidal, because Mr. Sassoon [his father] is the banker." For the Oscars, Lancôme makeup artist Tracey Levy created a sultry yet sweet makeup look for Mila Kunis. She was inspired by the actress's ultra-feminine, lilac-colored Elie Saab gown, and the result was undeniably pretty and polished. To find out how to re-create Mila's gorgeous look at home, just keep reading.

Face: For a flawless canvas, Levy prepped Mila's skin with Lancôme Teint Miracle Lit-from-Within Foundation ($37), then applied Blush Subtil in Sheer Amourose ($30) to the apples of Mila's cheeks.

Eyes: Mila's eyes received a double dose of shadow. Levy layered shades from Color Design 5 Pan Palette in Coral Crush ($48) and Color Design Eye Shadow in Impress on the lids, and lined Mila's top and bottom lash lines with Le Crayon Khôl EyeLiner in Black ($25). She finished with two coats of Hypnôse Waterproof Custom Volume Mascara in Black ($25) on both the upper and lower lids.

Lips: Levy used Color Fever Gloss in Blazing Pink ($26), followed by La Laque Fever

Beauty may be in the eye of the beholder, and it's important to be comfortable in one's own skin, but perhaps Voltaire said it best when he proclaimed, "Beauty pleases the eyes only;

sweetness of disposition charms the soul
