The worlds of modeling and advertising are curious ones indeed. And the strangeness of both is underscored when one hears that gorgeous, age-defying supermodel Kate Moss, 39, resorted to employing a body double for a recent ad shoot.

It seems the campaign for shoe label Stuart Weitzman required that Moss reveal a little more skin (or something?) than she (or the photographer? Or someone else?) was comfortable with, and so the body double was brought in. Because a model needing a body double makes total sense. Uhhh…
An onlooker who saw the filming said the body double "outshone" Kate on set, adding: "Kate didn't look her usual fabulous self - and the body double seemed to be doing most of the scenes.
