10. Sweater shrugs. They don't keep you warm, and they certainly aren't flattering. They cut off your body so you look heavier than you actually are. Try cardigans, jackets or blazers instead.
9. Sequin UGGs. Save 'em for the kiddies, gals. Imagine if your boss saw you in them: would she still think you're leadership material if she saw you in them? Read more about why we don't like them here.
8. Newsboy caps. Oliver Twist was never a fashion icon, and never will be.

7. Toe shoes. Are you a woman, or a sea creature? These are flat-out scary--so much that one person in our staff actually screamed when she first saw someone wearing them. Note to runners: we get that you love them and they're comfortable, but that doesn't make them any less hideous.
Do yourself a favor and grab a pair of J Brand jeans today: they're only $29! Normally in the $240 range, this sale is out of control good.
One of the most popular celebrity jeans, (see Zoe Saldana and January Jones rocking their own pairs above) J Brand jeans fit every body type, and they're super cute, too. In tons of styles, the only thing you need to do is hurry: they're not gonna last long.

Debenham's 1.7 Ounce T-Shirt BraRead More »from Beat The Heat Without Going Commando: Try This 1.7 Ounce Bra
Okay, so you can't technically try this bra unless you're planning a trip to the United Kingdom this summer, but with the heat wave that's attacking us here in the U.S. a trip across the pond to fetch this 1.7 ounce bra from the British department store Debenham's might just be worth it.
According to WWD, the bras are so light because they are threadless. Instead of traditional stitching, the manufacturer uses "bonded seaming" which makes for a featherweight bra that's perfect for days when you'd rather go sans-bra. Oh, and did we mention this bra retails for only £18 (that's $29)?
While we wait for this bra (or a version of it) to make its stateside debut, shop SHEfinds' guides to the best wireless bras, best strapless bras, and the best bras for big busts.
What undergarments (if any...) do you wear when it's unbearably hot? Thoughts on going commando to beat the heat? Weigh in in the comments section!

Last week, the New York Times published a piece stating that Kate Middleton is no fashion icon - a term used to describe celebrities like Lady Gaga; rather, The Duchess of Cambridge is a "style icon" and apparently this designation comes with a lot of selling power.
At SHEfinds, we've dubbed it "The Kate Middleton Effect," which is what happens after she wears something in public: it sells out immediately. Just reporting on what she wore and where to get it during her North American tour was difficult because within hours of her being photographed in a piece, it would sell out!
The NY Times article reported that Sebago sold 700 pairs of its Bala shoe just days after Kate Middleton wore her pair. Additionally, sales of her $240 Goldsign jeans have tripled since Kate wore them, and her Smythe blazer has been on back order since the moment she wore it publicly.

Can You Guess Which Designer Is Copying Hermès? (Hint: It Starts With An 'H' And You Might Own A Pair Of Their Rainboots)By SheFinds | Fashion – Wed, Jul 13, 2011 11:27 PM EDT
You guessed it, it's Hunter. Both bags are sold here at Neiman Marcus.
Nobody likes a copycat, and Hunter (yes, the rain boot brand) is a repeat offender. First the company rolls out ballet flats that look eerily similar to a Marc Jacobs pair, and now it has released a line of tote bags emblazoned with an "H", ostensibly for "Hunter" - but I'm not so sure. The new "H" logo is a near replica of the iconic Hermès "H", and although imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, I can't help but think Hermès will be less than thrilled. But then again, maybe not. After all, the bags don't really fall in the same price range. An Hermès tote can cost upwards of $3,000, while the most expensive Hunter tote costs $495.
A classic Hermès bag
