Valentine's Day is this weekend and to assume that red lingerie is what your man wants to see behind closed doors is apparently not such a great idea. Choosing the ever flirty (or so we thought) color red that may remind you of all things lust, love, and February 14 has now been dubbed not-so-hot by men.

According to laundrycare expert, Dr. Beckmann's recent study, our beaus would rather see us in black -- or white, which follows closely in second place! So now is the time to ditch your red lacy panties (voted least favorite by 50 percent of men), pink (voted no by 18 percent) and flesh tones (voted no by 11 percent) and buy something a little bit more, well, black or white.

Is Social Media Ruining Your Relationships?

New York Fashion Week Coverage 2010In our world today, we basically live our lives besieged by social media sites that while entertaining, unfortunately tend to control our lives. We wake up and check our StyleCaster daily email for the weather and what to wear, send out a succession of tweets to our friends, post yet another status update to our Facebook walls, and finish the day off by stalking our social circles' nightlife whereabouts using apps like Foursquare. Furthermore, this cycle never stops; it's on back-to-back repeat on a never-ending day-to-day basis. Since we live our lives in such an online savvy state of being, you shouldn't be surprised to find that this also applies to our relationships and has an effect on them in the physical -- not 0nline -- world.
While the social media craze has its advantages, it can also cause us to misuse these communication-based sites within the dating world. For example, we easily become paranoid lunatics

How to Create the Perfect Cat Eye
Curly haired girls have been trying to tame their hair ever since the first tendril sprouted from their heads. Everyone agrees that curls are gorgeous -- but perfecting them (getting them to be frizz free, and less chaotic) is not so easy. Celebrities such as Alicia Keys and Rihanna have the luxury of calling for help for their hair crises -- and they call for Tippi Shorter, a stylist known for her skills with curly hair. We asked Tippi for her help on our many questions regarding curls -- and she answered.

SC: Do you have any product suggestions to help us tame wild hair, whether it be due to huge curls or frizziness?
Tippi Shorter: I suggest using a light serum to help tame the wild, stray hairs. A light serum, like Advance Techniques Dry Ends Serum, will help keep any stray hairs in place without weighing down your curls. This trick can be used on wet or dry hair. Just be careful not to over-apply!

The Secret to Taming Wild Curls
If you have trouble getting to sleep at night and wake up feeling groggy and tired, you're not alone. Generally, adults need 7-8 hours of sleep each night, but many people find it difficult to get enough hours of uninterrupted shut eye. A lack of sleep not only impacts your mood, it can impair your memory and concentration as well. Additionally, it can weaken your immune system, making you more susceptible to colds, viruses, and other infections. Here are fifteen habits to avoid if you're in the market for getting a better night's sleep.
1. Leaving the TV On or Using Your Computer Before Bed
Some people watch TV as a way to fall asleep. However, what many people don't realize is that it can contribute to sleeplessness. The human body runs on a 24-hour Circadian Rhythm or an "internal clock." This internal clock has a huge impact on when we sleep and the quality of sleep we get. Additionally, it's sensitive to light. The continuous

Valentine's Day: A Real Man's Perspective
As we come upon Valentine's Day, both a nationally dreaded and revered holiday by both those tied down as well as those in the dating pool, we have to wonder -- what makes people more successful at dating than others? And we know that we're not the only ones with this question on our minds. In fact, there were over 350,000 Google searches in January using the exact term "find love," over 90,000 more searches on "finding love," and "find true love" got another 33,000 hits this past month. If that doesn't say what's in the American subconscious, then we don't know what does.
While there are plenty of factors that make this question nearly impossible to answer, we think one's geographic location may have more than a little to do with it. After all, if you live amid cornfields in the Midwest and the nearest building within 10 miles is a gas station, it's likely to take a bit more of an effort for you to meet another single person -- much less oneAlexa Chung, Jessica Biel, and More Do Denim with Perfection

Our favorite British model-turned-TV-host-turned-fashion-designer graces the cover of the March issue of British Vogue. Once again, Chung looks effortlessly beautiful, dressed in Ralph Lauren's white oxford, wool blazer, and ripped jeans. Not only is Chung a cover girl, but she's also a contributing editor for the magazine. In the March issue she writes a story in which she talks about her obsession with denim. According to Chung, "Denim is a symbol of youth, sex, rebellion and, most essentially, America." We couldn't agree more! This may seem ironic coming from the British model, but Chung has become somewhat of an American fashion obsession herself. In fact, she could be described in almost the same way.

Why do Only Married Men Hit on Me?
Newly single gorgeous blondes never stay single for long, which is why we weren't surprised to find out that the recently unattached beauty, Reese Witherspoon, is dating again! Witherspoon split from beau Jake Gyllenhaal last December.
The rumored news was leaked when onlookers caught a glimpse of Witherspoon meeting up with an agent for Hollywood's Creative Artists Agency, Jim Toth, at Locanda Portofino last Thursday. The two were spotted canoodling throughout their two-hour stay at the Italian restaurant in Santa Monica, California, which consisted of plenty of wining and dining -- plus, like a gentleman, Toth picked up the tab. The actress was all smiles upon their departure at 11 PM, which ended with an amorous hug and a peck on the cheek according to a passerby.
Despite the fact that Witherspoon is indeed a CAA client, we think cupid's arrow may have struck the young mother of two (Ava, 10 and Deacon, 6) -- or was it just a
