As the summer heat rolls on, all we can do to survive is look forward to fall temperatures - and the fall fashion September issues. Condé Nast Corptweeted that Vogue ad pages are clocking in this September with a 9.3% increase from last year to 584. This means that Vogue is the leader in September issues and that you hopefully have 9.3% more fashion-y goodness coming your way.

Vogue competitors Elle and Harper's Bazaar had different results. According to Ad Week, Harper's increased 2.2% to 308 ad pages, while Elle ad pagesdecreased 6.8% to 350 pages. Condé Nast's sister publication W increased 3% to 255 pages.

Why all the ups and downs? It's hard to speculate, but maybe it boils down toVogue just having more brand recognition than any other title. A Kate Moss cover, while a bit safe, is probably a really good sell for advertisers (it is a wedding exclusive, after all). It's hard to argue that any other

Want a friend on the inside? Add us on Facebook to always stay in touch.
A couple of weeks back, StyleCaster associate editor Alyssa Vingan and I had the pleasure of working out with a true industry fitness legend, celebrity trainer Ary Nuñez. Most girls would give anything for even a few personal tips and tricks from the woman responsible for Rihanna's ripped body, but we actually got the privilege of a full 45 minute, one-on-one training session with Ary in her at-home studio.

Three days later, my body was still in massive amounts of pain - and that was just from a "mini sess." Needless to say, there's a reason why Ri, as Ary refers to her, is in such great shape. "I hate going to the gym and doing it the old-fashioned way. I hate anything that's too straightforward, too routine, too familiar. I get bored really, really quickly," Rihanna explained in the April issue of Vogue. Well, Ary's workouts are anything but straightforward and boring.

      She uses innovative and

How do you get nearly 200 interns into classrooms and lectures in the middle of the summer? You promise them Derek Lam and the chance to network with members of some of fashion's biggest names. That's the premise of Fashion Campus NYC, held this past weekend at Parsons The New School for Design.

At Fashion Campus NYC, reps from some of the biggest names (hello Saks, Ralph Lauren, CFDA and Coach) imparted some wisdom to interns for networking and interviewing - in between stories from their day jobs (company jets, hanging at Diane von Furstenburg's apartment - no big deal). The event was put together with the New York Center for Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), which will work with Parsons on another event this fall - the first ever Fashion Draft (sounds sporty!).

    • Break The Habit! 5 Ways Boys Can Be Addictive

"I'm all strung up, my heart is fried, I just cant get you off my mind. Because your love, your love, your love, is my drug." I never thought that a Ke$ha song could ever be the catalyst for an article, but the girl speaks the truth when it comes to dating and boys. Boys, like many drugs, are a vice that can become very difficult to break for some women. They can bring you down, but they can also make you feel like you're on an incredible high.

It isn't until you take a step back from the situation that you really realize howemotionally destructive you've been. If you're one of the many women who constantly find themselves being drawn to these drug-like boys, then there's a good chance you need to change up your routine and start looking for a different type of guy, one that doesn't constantly bring you down. Still unconvinced of the addictive similarities? Well, here are 5 ways boys are just like

You know what they say in the fashion world: three's a trend. So, if we're talking about the prevalence of all-things-feline for Fall 2011, cats are already a trend three times over, which means they'll probably be inescapable come September. As if having bigwigs like Riccardo Tisci and Karl Lagerfeld incorporating the animal into their fall ad campaigns wasn't enough, our furry friends have become an editorial mainstay, and their ears have inspired a whole new style of headgear.

Hot on the heels (paws?) of Anna Sui's Fall 2011 cat hats, Maison Michel Paris' fall lookbook features Sasha Pivovarova wearing a sequined cap with perked-up cat ears and a pretty bow. In kittens-as-models news, the latest issue of Marie Claire China features a dreamy editorial starring some dramatic evening wear alongside the cutest little white fluffballs you've ever seen.

Look, I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of felines

    • Emma Roberts: Shopping For

Want a friend on the inside? Add us on Facebook to always stay in touch.

I was watching an E! mid-commercial promo recently (I know... I don't know) that announced the era of the new Hollywood "good girl," with Emma Roberts at the top of the list. I would never assume another girl's character, but Roberts definitely prefers things a bit sweeter when it comes to wardrobe selection.

Clockwise from left to right: Vanessa Bruno blue vest, $301, at Farfetch; Helmut Lang dress, $380, at Net-a-Porter; Topshop cream blouse, $76, at Topshop; Markus Lupfer dress, $745, at Net-a-Porter; Boutique 9 sandals, $95, at Shopbop; Bobbi Brown gel liner, $21, atSephora; Topshop off white tapered trousers, $85, at Topshop; Diane von Furstenberg clutch, $295, at Net-a-Porter; Ben Amun small flower studs, $120, at Charm & Chain; Alice + Olivia leather panel leggings, $165, at Singer22

It's all about pieces that are a bit drapey, beaded or girlish for the young actress and Julia Roberts DNA
