The flapper do is making a comeback. But this time, it's tousled and relaxed enough for everyday wear. By creating a pinned-up bob, even those with long hair can rock the look.

Step 1: Make a deep side part and spritz your whole head with spray starch. Use a deep-wave or medium-barrel curling iron to create loose waves all over.

Step 2: Finger-comb all the waves except for those in front (they should remain sleek and close to your forehead). If you have long hair and want to create a faux bob, twist your longer layers into a low bun about two inches below the nape of your neck. Roll the bun under and upward, and secure it beneath the shorter layers with pins.
