This morning everyone else may be buzzing about the best beauty looks from last night's Emmy awards, but in the meantime, another group of hairstyles has caught my attention. Take a look at a few of the contestants from the 2012 European Beard and Moustache Championships that took place in France over the weekend -- who knew? Did your jaw just drop? Yeah, mine's down there too.

I had no idea this event even existed, or that facial hair could be tweaked and curled to such extremes, but color me impressed. I mean, check out the dude with the two-toned beard that spans past his shoulders (far left, second from the bottom)!

There's a new girl making a splash in the world of high fashion and, for once, she's not a Kate Moss doppelganger or some Victoria's Secret angel type. Sure, this girl is gorgeous and statuesque, but she's also a plus-size model.

Since she started modeling 7 years ago, Robyn Lawley has covered French Elle and Vogue Italia but has now catapulted to the big leagues. The 23-year-old Australian plus-size model has just landed a mega contact with Ralph Lauren.

Before you poo poo this pronouncement, let's get something straight. No, Mr. Lauren is not collaborating with Lane Bryant or some other larger woman brand. Lawley is the legitmate new face (and body) of the luxe label and she can be seen in all her glory in their latest glossy print ads.

Why is this news? For one, she's only the second plus-sized model to ever land a contract with a traditionally non plus-sized brand

Remember when perfume just, you know, smelled nice? Nowadays fragrances are like those overachiever kids in science camp -- weight-loss perfume comes to mind. (Though I'm still itching to see if it actually works.)

Then Lady Gaga started the color insanity -- her black liquid scent actually mists on clear. And British design duo Boudicca are taking it one step further. Their scent Wode sprays in a vibrant, freaky cobalt blue; it fades to clear when it dries.

The scent is warm notes of juniper, berry, and nutmeg absolute. Not that it matters. With a gimmick like this, most of us will forget to smell it. Their shocking ad campaign (see the photo) is scary and grabby too.

The secret ingredient that allows the color to dissipate is a plant extract called Woad that converts color when exposed to air.
