Philadelphia Phillies outfielder John Mayberry Jr. got himself a little crush on actress Antoinette Nikprelaj, an actress from the last Pirates of the Caribbean movie. So he asked his agent to find her and ask her out for him.

Now, Mayberry probably assumed his agent would play it cool and subtly contact her to see if she would be interested in a date. You know, maybe talk him up a bit, like a good wingman would.
Unfortunately, that is not what happened.
Read the horrible, embarrassing email that the agent sent Nikprelaj's team:

The Internet is all bent out of shape today over what could be considered the Holy Grail of leaked nude photos: Scarlett Johansson. It's the same story as countless times before -- celeb takes naked pics of self, celeb's phone/computer/computer gets hacked, everyone in the entire world sees celeb naked, everyone blames the celeb.

The reactions to the ScarJo leak have so far been no different --
"We expected her to be a little smarter than this!" declared a clearly disappointed Perez Hiton.
Gizmodo ran the pics with the words "You Asked For It" covering Johansson's breasts.
Maybe it's just me, but this sounds an awful lot like blaming a rape victim for "dressing too slutty" or "being in the wrong part of town."

Most women would be thrilled if a guy sent over a bouquet of fresh flowers. Not Madonna! Last week, the singer was less than gracious after receiving a bouquet from a fan.

"I absolutely loathe hydrangeas," she was caught saying to a friend on video. "He obviously doesn't know that."
Well, Madonna may have seemed harsh in the video, but no one can accuse her of not having a sense of humor. A week after her flower-disapproval made the internet rounds, the singer released her own video...an apology, of sorts.

An awful story in the NY Post today, via Jezebel: a nurse is suing the NYU Langone Medical Center after enduring sexual harassment and teasing from her co-workers, who had taken to calling her "The 41 Year-Old Virgin." You know, like the movie? The 40 Year-Old Virgin? So clever.

Apparently everyone from doctors to nurses had taken to calling her by the moniker, and constantly urging her to have sex. (I could make a joke about poor bedside manner, here.) One pediatric neurosurgeon in particular took it upon himself to enlighten her on what sex is actually like by quoting one of the more gross Jonah Hill lines of the movie. The situation worsened when she was diagnosed with endometriosis, which, for some reason, became the topic of hospital cafeteria gossip.
Now she's suing the hospital for $45 million in damages.

A recent Date Report survey revealed that 70% of our readers think that cyber sex is the same as cheating. Hopefully, the 30% who disagree aren't in relationships with them.

While 25% of respondents draw the line at physical contact, the overwhelming majority feel that even an exchange of words that are sexual in nature, typed on a computer screen, is a betrayal.
Only 5% of respondents made any distinction between video and text only chat and no one made any distinction between cyber sex with professionals or... peers.

What's alarming about this is that the line between porn and "sex cam sites" can be awfully blurry. At what point does it become cheating? Is it okay to watch a person who's not your partner engaging in sexual acts as long as it's not happening live? Does it become cheating when you chat with them, or is it cheating as soon as you

Askmen recently published an analysis of what a man's preferred sex position says about the man who prefers it.
It's a little bleak.
For example, your predilection toward doggy style indicates that you "have a real disdain toward women, and you try and degrade them any chance you get" -- an assessment that is really kind of degrading to both men and women in and of itself.

Sure, it's a joke. But it's a joke that supports the very worst, most harmful assumptions about men's sexuality. I could go on and on about the ways in which such a joke shames both men and women for having the kind of sex they want to have, not to mention the fact that some of the most loving, connected sex I've had in my life has been in the canine position -- but I would l probably only be written off as a wet blanket by the ranks of bro-dom.

If you're still in the camp of "phone calls over text messages," the results of a new study by Cornell University might change your mind...
7 Reasons A Text Is Better Than A Call
Researches asked students to keep a diary of all their conversations, recording the medium of the conversation and the number of lies or mistruths told per conversation. Using this information, researchers calculated the percentage of lies told based on the medium.
The 9 Most Common Excuses For Dumping Someone
Email: 14%
Text: 21%
In Person: 27%
Telephone: 37%
Take that, people who say that texting and emailing is impersonal! According to the lead researcher, one hypothesis is that people are too scared to lie over email because there's then a written record of the lie.
