So said Marilyn Monroe to photographer Lawrence Schiller in 1960-right before coming up with the most attention-grabbing idea she could imagine: A photo shoot which would involve her jumping into a swimming pool with a bathing suit on… and then coming up for air with it off. Yes, ladies and gents: Even Norma Jeane had nude photos. But the difference between hers and most of the celebrity nude photos that appear today is that Marilyn's were no accident.

You know you're at a good party when you're muttering about your camera malfunctioning. Martha Stewart walks by, makes a sympathetic sound and says to you. "Oh, I know! They can be such a pain!"

And what a party it was! Mickey Boardman, Todd Oldham, Emma Roberts, Sabina Soto, Giada de Laurentiis, Leelee Sobieski and January Jones (somehow I missed her-must've been a height thing) rubbed shoulders with editors, bloggers and stylists at the IAC building last night in New York City.

Music spun by Chelsea Layland got partiers moving. Although hearing "Gangster Paradise" in the midst of well-heeled and fed partiers seemed odd rather than hipster-ironic. Later on during the party there was a surprise performance by Wilson Phillips.

No, seriously. Have you ever seen a tranquilized bear fall from a tree? Because a whole bunch of people at the University of Colorado Boulder just did.

This is a very serious question: Have you ever seen a tranquilized bear fall from a tree before? No? Well, now you have. See above.

True story: Last Thursday, a bear was spotted wandering around the University of Colorado Boulder campus (because apparently this is what happens when you go to school in Colorado). According to the University of Colorado's student-run newspaper, the CU Independent, the campus police department received a phone call around 8am that morning reporting the sighting. It seems that the bear had managed to climb up a tree near the CU dorms, where it stayed for roughly two and a half hours. At 10:17am, wildlife officials were able to tranquilize the bear-while it was still in the tree, mind you. The doped-up bear then fell from the tree safely onto some mats below
