Oh yes, I'll admit it. I'm jealous of her self-confidence, her sexy British accent, the way she's always ready to go…
      -Jennifer Ostrega Gold, BettyConfidential.com

It's hard to imagine that my husband of only four years is having a love affair, but he is.

When I first found them together, I was powerless to do anything about it. He had one like her before, but he told me that she wasn't big enough, so he wanted another one. She's easier to touch, and he often reaches for her. I hate to admit it, but he just seems happier with her on long trips. Yes, they go on trips together. And you'll think I'm stupid, but yes, sometimes I go in the car with them. She sits up on the dashboard in front of me.

She has many different voice settings and she even can do a British accent if you program her to. It pisses me off when she gives directions because when we travel, he'd rather listen to her than to me.

    • Exclusive! Kim Cattrall on Her New Movie, SATC Memories and Dating

The star of 'Meet Monica Velour' proves she's so much more than Samantha Jones. And yet, she's still the sexy, confident woman we all wish we could have as a best friend.
      -Faye Brennan, BettyConfidential.com

I was appalled when the story about Kim Cattrall "being drunk and calling out a gossip reporter" made the rounds on the Internet last week. I had the pleasure of interviewing Kim the same day as this reporter, and not only was I extremely impressed by the actress, but I left our intimate meeting with nothing but nice things to say about her. Not only is she gorgeous in person, but she's also soft-spoken, refined, incredibly smart, and one of the nicest celebrities I've met.

She's a woman who would be appalled and offended, and rightfully so, to be asked about her bikini waxing habits while at the premiere for her new movie, Meet Monica Velour (in theaters tomorrow, April 8). Had this other reporter done her homework, she would've known that such juvenile

    • Would You Ever “Date for Dinner?”

The pros, cons and moral dilemmas of going on a date with someone you're just not that into.
      -Julia Austin, BettyConfidential.com

      datingdating

This topic will stir up a bit of controversy. Dating "for" anything sounds like you are exchanging your charm, your company, your … whatever in exchange for a meal-a monetary item. But, when I say dating for dinner, I do not mean dating because you cannot afford your own groceries. I mean dating for experiences…

I watch the news, peruse travel journals, and have even taken a cooking class here and there. I do what I can to reduce the number of times I fiddle my thumbs at a dinner party while guests discuss a topic I know nothing about. But even though I've taken the lead on opening my own eyes, the fact is that a lot of what I know has come from experiences on dates. What am I talking about? Trips I've been taken on. Nice dinners. Phenomenal hikes to locations barely open to the public. You get the point-experiences. These could be anything.

      -April Danie ls Hussar, BettyConfidential.com

Well here's a nice cheery tale of sterling parenthood out of Georgia: A miserable excuse for a man tattooed the letters "DB" on his 2-year-old son's arm. You might assume, as I did, that DB stands for the father's initials (Dirt Bag), but you would be wrong; DB is "Daddy's Boy" -- isn't that just heartwarming?

According to Newser, "The father-who told police he was drunk and didn't remember tattooing the letters-is no longer allowed to have contact with the toddler."

OH THAT EXPLAINS IT. Eugene Ashley, 26, was so drunk he didn't realize what he was doing when he gave his innocent child indelible, painful proof of what an a-hole his father is. Totally understandable! I mean, don't you hate it when you have that extra glass of Chardonnay at your play date and whoops! out comes the tattoo gun! Happens to me All. The.Time.

After a little digging I discovered that this moron who was actually arrested a year ago, when Child

      By BettyConfidential.com
You don't have to wear white on your wedding day.

Reese Witherspoon looked radiant in her pink custom-made Monique Lhuillier gown when she wed Jim Toth at her ranch in Ojai, California. It may not be a traditional color choice for a wedding gown, but she's not the only one who's worn that color on her big day. Gwen Stefani wore a pink ombre Dior gown when she married Gavin Rossdale. Victoria Beckham wore a pale champagne colored wedding gown when she married David.

    • Would You Ever Consider a Non-Traditional Engagement Ring?

A little muddy-brown diamond or a big, sparkling rock: which would you choose?
      -Faye Brennan, BettyConfidential.com

Engagement rings are a big deal. We know this after Kate Middleton's blue hand-me-down stunner (and her fiancé's recent decision to not wear one at all) made headlines worldwide. Not only is an engagement ring a beautiful piece of jewelry, but it's also one of the only tangible items that says every day for the rest of a woman's life, "Sorry, I'm taken… and he really, really loves me."

So, what does it mean if your engagement ring isn't a traditional, big sparkling diamond, but a muddy little brown one? This is what Mara Altman ponders in her new Kindle Single, Sparkle (amazon.com). Believe it or not, she was the one who didn't want a big diamond when her fiancé proposed. Well, why the hell not?

To understand Altman's unique decision, we asked her to explain it, and her book, in her own words.

      By BettyConfidential.com

Curls ruled the ACM Awards-here's how you can get this look at home.
      -PJ Gach, BettyConfidential.com

Everywhere you looked at the ACM, celebs were strutting curls. Nicole Kidman's cascading curls was a gorgeous, romantic look.

Celebrity hairstylist David Babaii created the touchable date look style. Here's how you can do it at home.

Beginning with a clean canvas and applying Couture Colour Pequi Oil Treatment from roots to ends, David gently rough dried the hair moving his hands in various directions to create natural texture and volume.

Once dry, he fashioned a side part and divided tresses into 4 sections (sides, top & nape). Starting at the nape area, he took 1inch sections throughout the head applying additional Pequi Oil to each.

Then David then wrapped each section around two fingers forming a barrel type curl, pinning each with a bobby pin to the back of the head.

When all hair was curled and secured, he took his blow
