New mom Charlize Theron chatted with Ryan Seacrest on Friday about her favorite baby gadgets and more!

Charlize Theron's announcement last week that she had adopted a baby boy may have taken the world by surprise, but boy, was it a pleasant one. Besides releasing one short statement, however, she kept pretty quiet all week. We understand why, of course; but that still didn't stop our insatiable curiosity from working overtime. But now we've got a little more to go on! Hoorah!

Charlize went on Ryan Seacrest's radio show last Friday to chat about new motherhood and how baby Jackson (who, by the way, is four months old) has changed her life. The most surprising thing, the actress said, was the outpouring of support from the public. "It's been amazing, the amount of emails and congratulations," she said; "Everyone's just been so lovely-it's been really nice." That support? Probably because we all think she's going to be a terrific mom!

As you may have noticed, we're in full Hunger Games mode here at BettyConfidential; we can't even TELL you how excited we are for the release of the movie this Friday. And lucky us, Taylor Swift has just let loose another one of the songs she's contributed to the soundtrack! Hoorah!

During a concert she played in Aukland, New Zealand on Saturday, Taylor debuted her second Hunger Games song, a track entitled "Eyes Open." Here, take a listen! The video's visuals aren't of the greatest quality-such is the nature of bootlegged concert recordings-but the audio sounds fine. The song starts about 30 seconds in.

To be honest? I don't like this one quite as much as "Safe and Sound." This probably has something to do with the fact that it sounds a little more typically Taylor than the previous one, on which she collaborated with the Civil Wars;

After his arrest on Friday, George Clooney hit the Sunday talk show circuit to talk about the problems in the Sudan and more.

It's doubtful that you missed this little tidbit, but just in case you did, George Clooney (actor by day, activist by night!) got arrested on Friday outside the Sudanese Embassy in Washington, DC during a protest intended to warn of a humanitarian crisis at the border between Sudan and South Sudan. It was a peaceful protest-no violence!-which consisted of George and the other protesters (including his father, journalist Nick Clooney) blocking the entrance to the embassy; after being given orders to disperse by the police three different times, the cops moved in and arrested the protesters.

Got that? Good. Now let me give you a moment to wrap your head around the fact that we're about to send Ashton Kutcher into space.

Even if you're drinking more than a camel, your skin can still feel the effects of harsh wind, dry heat in buildings and less moisture in the cold air. Here are a few tips and tricks to recover your silky skin from the effects from the harsh winter months.

Drink!

If you're not already drinking 64 ounces of water a day, start immediately. Cut down on the coffee, carbonated drinks, wine and tea. Even though coffee and tea are perfect drinks to warm the body, they also dehydrate the skin immediately. I also recommend eating water based food like cucumbers, celery and fruit to give the skin extra hydration.

Exfoliate!

The next step is exfoliation. I recommend a very gentle acid peel or rice powder and rinsing with tepid

Hunger Games hasn't even opened yet, but as the days fly by, we're going to see a ton of HGtie-ins. We just came across a group of drinks inspired by the movie. The tequila-based drinks sound tasty.

Here are all the recipes. Drink up, the games are coming!

Nightlock's Nemesis

nightlock nemesis cocktail2 Ounces Camarena Silver Tequila

1 Ounce Lemon Juice

1/2 Ounce Agave Nectar

2 Cucumber Wheels

2 Blackberries

2 Ounces Ginger Beer

Directions:

Muddle cucumber and blackberries in a mixing glass. Add tequila, lemon juice, Agave nectar and ice. Shake and strain into a tall glass with ice. Top with ginger beer and stir. Garnish with cucumber wheel.

Remembering Rue

3 Ounces Fever-Tree Ginger Beerremembering rue cocktail
