A new study found that soul mates may be a nice idea in theory and in chick flicks, but not so much in real life. In fact, chick flicks could be wrecking your relationship. "Couples who believe in soul mates have such high expectations of marriage, and when those aren't met they're more likely to enter into conflict or even end up getting divorced," explains Bradford Wilcox, PhD, Director of the National Marriage Project at the University of Virginia. He added that these types of couples expect an intense positive emotional connection all the time, which sets them up for disappointment. Related: 5 Traits a Guy Should Have Before You Get Serious
On the other hand, couples with a slightly less fantasy-ish outlook aren't as likely to fight and ultimately throw in the towel. Related: The Marriage Mistake Hollywood Women Make
That may sound like bad news for the two-thirds of Americans who like the idea of soul mates (then again, can you reach soul mate status with any man?). But if

You may have heard that once prolific tweeter John Mayer has decided to retire from Twitter, meaning almost four million followers will have to turn elsewhere for overshare-y messages of 140 characters or less. (We're looking at you, Tila Tequila and Diddy.)

Not only did John give up Twitterverse, but he also deleted the entire account. Since you can no longer turn to @JohnCMayer for real time gems about his penis, his heart, and peeing, we've compiled a list of his best (read: worst) tweets to help ease the pain of the loss...

Cher
We love vintage too, Cher, but you really couldn't find anything else to wear besides the sheer outfit from your music video two decades ago? We dedicate this fashion advice video to you.
Nicki Menaj
Forget the Pepto pink wig-this Best New Artist nominee's riskiest fashion choice was an insanely camel-toe-prone jumpsuit.
Evan Rachel Wood
Evan shouldn't look so smug-she's wearing a drab winter ensemble to the only awards show where literally anything goes. For example, Lady Gaga's meat headpiece. And that's not even the craziest thing she's ever worn.
Ciara
Side cleavage can be cool...just not when it's spilling out of a sheer top and worn with a skirt that looks like a bunch of toupees sewn together.

You don't need us to tell you that right now, it's smart to function on a leaner, meaner budget. But it's hard to do that when you're oblivious to where all your cash goes. Well, stop scratching your head, and consult this list of innocent little expenses that may be siphoning off your bottom line. The great news: With a few tweaks here and there, you can keep your wallet fatter for longer.
IRS withholdings. Many people have money withheld from their paychecks in the hopes of getting a fat refund. But doing that is like giving the government an interest-free loan. Instead, change your W4 filing-just ask your employer for a new form-so that you get as much money as possible up front. Then discipline yourself to put that portion in the bank, where you'll earn interest. Plus, try these easy money-saving switches.
Dry cleaning. Dropping off your nice clothes at the cleaners can cost $5 or more per item…and that adds up. But thanks to such products as Tide Total Care and Dryel, you can give

We've spent as much time as possible at the beach this summer - running around barefoot, swimming in the ocean and pool (in these hot numbers), enjoying cocktails, and of course slathering on loads of sunscreen. However, even if you faithfully practice safe sun like we do (you do, right?), your skin inevitably takes a beating. Now that summer is over (sniff, sniff), and there's a lot of beauty repair work to be done.
While a nice facial is an effective (and blissful) way to slough off dead summer skin and get a little extra moisture, you don't have to go to a spa or spend a ton of money on your post-summer skin rehab (try this at-home facial instead). Here are some suggestions that can be pulled off at home:
1. Swap your oil-controlling cleanser and lightweight SPF day lotion for a mild cleanser and a more emollient day cream (with SPF). These tweaks will keep your skin soft and hydrated as the weather starts to get cooler. Plus, try these spa tips to get skin soft and glowing.
2.- If you have more stuff than space, we have brilliant tips you can't live without. Plus: Try these super easy ways to simplify your life.
1. Divide and Conquer the Pile-Up
Instead of battling the scarf or necklace octopus that forms when you toss a bunch in a drawer, mount a basic peg board on one wall of the closet, and hang each item so they stay separate.Related: What He Thinks When He Walks Through Your Door
2. Create a Hideaway For Your Summer Gear
Off-season items don't deserve prime closet real estate. If you have tall ceilings in your bedroom or living room, put a board shelf high up on the wall, and store summer clothing in cute boxes or baskets.
3. Show Off Your Carry-All
Bags are super-bulky, so don't even think about housing them in a small closet. Instead, turn them into bedroom decor by displaying them on a shelf. It provides easy access, they won't get squashed, and you get instant wall art. Got a decorating dilemma? We'll solve it.

You let a friend crash on your couch indefinitely. Your sister asks to borrow your pricey new boots - the ones you haven't even worn yet - and you say okay. And you just agreed to take on a work project for a swamped coworker, even though you're overwhelmed with your own assignments.
Sound familiar? Many women get bogged down doing things for others because it's so tough to say no. Before you utter a reluctant yes to yet another request, find out why the "sure, no problem" habit is so powerful and how to break it (and not feel guilty).

Why Women Say Yes
When a guy is asked to take on an unwanted task, he generally doesn't hesitate to nip the request in the bud. No, he can't lend his buddy 20 bucks. Sorry, he has no time to dog-sit for his neighbor.
The reasons guys and girls don't react the same way to requests are both socially sanctioned and biologically driven. "Men are expected to assert themselves and speak

Just a few generations ago, pretty much every baby boy in the U.S. was circumcised-aka, had the foreskin of his penis removed.

Now, new statistics presented at the International AIDS Conference in Vienna last month suggest a steep drop in the number of males getting this, uh, unkind cut. Last year, 33 percent of infant males were circumcised, a big drop compared to 2006, when 56 percent underwent this surgical procedure, according to stats reported in the New York Times.

If the trend continues, uncut guys will soon outnumber circumcised ones, and a dude with a foreskin won't seem weird or odd at all. And really, why should it? Sex feels just as good for a man with a foreskin as it does for one without. Same goes for the woman hooking up with him. And condoms work equally well on both types of penises.
