Try resisting this...We definitely lose track of how many times we check Facebook and Twitter every day. But a new study found that social media might be harder to resist than…pretty much everything else.
By Korin Miller
In the study, researchers from Chicago University monitored 205 people for a week to suss out their cravings. Scientists checked in on participants seven times a day, asking them to report back on what urges they had at that particular moment or within the last 30 minutes, how strong they were, and whether or not they gave in to them. Overall, there were 10,558 responses and 7,827 desires reported.

Researchers discovered that people were most likely to give in to their urge to check their Twitter or Facebook pages-even more than they were to have sex and go shopping.
Sure, it's easier (and faster) for most people to check their Twitter feeds than seduce someone or hit the mall, so we get why you'd give in so easily. But wow.

1. Tell a Sexy Story
Have a sultry conversation with your guy about bringing a third person into the boudoir. Lead into it by playfully saying, "let's try something fun and different tonight." Then take turns vividly describing a hot scenario. When you imagine yourself performing a sexual act, your brain actually goes through the same mental process it would if you were doing it IRL. That, in turn, triggers physical arousal. The more details you use, the more engaged your brain becomes, and the stronger your body's response.
2. Put on a Show

1. Do the One-Minute Rule
Using a face wash laced with salicylic acid (from one to two percent depending on how bad, and how often, you break out) is a surefire way to stop pimples from forming. It's simple: Instead of spot treating after one pops up, you're keeping every single pore clear from the get go. Suds up in the morning and night, and then wait one full minute before rinsing so the gentle exfoliator can work its pore-clearing magic.

Go see your doc!Saw that new research that says you don't need to go to the doctor every year for a checkup? Disregard that.
By Korin Miller
A little background: A study of 183,00 people in the U.S. and Europe found that healthy people who regularly visit the doctor for checkups were just as likely to die over the study's nine-year period as people who didn't get checkups. So, people concluded that there's no need to get an annual physical.

Well, you know condoms are important. But are you using them?Freaky research alert: A new study found that women tend to stop using condoms when they go on birth control. Even worse, when they go off the Pill, they don't usually start using condoms again.
By Korin Miller
For the study, researchers from Stanford University followed 1,194 sexually active women who visited Planned Parenthood for birth control. Scientists asked them how they felt about using condoms (and how their partners felt about it) and tracked them over the course of a year.
Related: So, He Has a Small Penis...
In the beginning, 36 percent said they consistently used condoms. It dropped to 27 percent three months later (after they were on birth control). And while some women stopped using hormonal birth control during the year, more than half of that group didn't use condoms after they went off the Pill.
Scarily enough, the biggest factor in whether women used condoms was their partners-if they were with a guy who wasn't that into condom use, they just didn't use them.
