Dogs getting tattoos? Uh...If you feel bad about your most recent indulgence - say, a $200 splurge on shoes, or your first Groupon order for a housekeeper - take heart, because there will always, always, be people who are on a planet even further away from the Earth.

The proof? Sentences like this: "Sometimes, my dog and I dress in the same color if we're going to a red carpet event." (I told you.)
The above, spoken by an Upper East Side Manhattan resident (naturally this would go down in the birthplace of Gossip Girl), isn't even the craziest part of this article in the New York Observer, which exposes a new trend in the hoity-toity neighborhood's canine grooming. Specifically, glitter tattoos for dogs. You heard me. Since the heydays of Paris Hilton, little purse dogs have long been a status symbol, and now that we've run out of room on our own bodies (Tramp stamps - check! Vajazzling - check!), getting a bling-tastic rose or heart glued to our pooch's rump is the next crazy-a*s cultural

Sarah Dill and her boyfriend Ben.Online dating comes in many forms. But who knew a Web site as salacious as Chatroulette could render a real relationship? Sarah Dill, a senior at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology, shares her sweet story of how her now boyfriend went from Internet stranger to man of her dreams. As told to Dara Adeeyo.

It started on February 19, 2012 when I was hanging out in my friend's dorm room. It was late and her other friend popped open her laptop and suggested we go on Chatroulette just for fun. I had never been on the site, but always thought it was a place where most people only had the intentions of flashing their goods. (Chatroulette is a place where you can interact with random strangers around the globe via Webcam.)
We got started and crossed paths with some pretty, um, interesting people: A super drunk dude with a British accent, and so, so, sooo many weird men dancing (what's up with that?!). Several sudden clicks later, we came to a guy with a guitar named Ben.Study: Women Are into Funny Dudes for One-Night Stands, but Not Relationships

The Chandler effect.Sorry, Chandler. Today in studies we completely disagree with, UK social researchers have discovered that while funny guys are often the first to get laid, they're the last to be chosen to, say, meet her mom or pick out shower curtains with her at Crate and Barrel. That is to say: Ladies don't want to get serious with dudes who are funny, according to Metro UK. Boo.

The study filmed 40 psychology students - half men and half women - answering a basic hypothetical question. Nineteen students whose answers contained humor were termed "actors," and their videos were played for the following students, who were asked to rank them in terms of suitability for a short-term relationship (as short as a one-night stand, in fact) or a long-termone. Based on the answers, the researchers determined that male wit "nurtures an impression of not being serious or willing to invest in a mate."

Read this before moving in with your guy. When it comes to love, some manic-pixie-dream-girl types like to say there are no rules. But there are definitely certain things that you should never do, like sleep with your therapist or have a baby with a drummer. The point is follow your heart but don't be a dummy.

Moving in with your partner is not like trying a side part. It's a BFD and you should really think it through before you take the plunge. Below are six essential tips, gathered from relationship experts and seasoned friends, to consider before sharing a lease with your lover.
1. The "Talk"
An essential question to ask yourself before moving in together, is WHY? Why are you doing this? Is it out of financial convenience? Is this a step toward marriage? Whatever the reason is, make sure you are in sync. Remember on Girls when Shoshanna suddenly realized that her boyfriend, Ray, basically moved in even though they never discussed it? Let's all learn from Shosh and not let a guy twice ourPresident Obama Declares Support for Planned Parenthood

President Barack ObamaIn the first instance of a sitting president addressing an abortion rights group, President Obama directly addressed Planned Parenthood and assured them that he would fight to prevent the threatened regression of reproductive rights, according to USA Today. (Granted, he never used the word "abortion" at any point - he did say "the right to choose!" - but still.)

Incidentally, this comes very shortly after meeting with the 20 female Senators over dinner.
Said President Obama, whose second term was largely backed by young female voters: "When it comes to a woman's health, no politician should get to decide what's best for you. The only person who should get to make decisions about your health is you... Planned Parenthood is not going anywhere. It's not going anywhere today, it's not going anywhere tomorrow."

Have you ever worn a corset after giving birth?I don't know about you guys, but I break out in sympathy sweat even when I see women in the appropriate garb at a summer Renaissance fair (yes, my nerdiness is showing: Let's just say I see this more often than most people see it). So Jessica Alba's confession to Net-a-Porter's The Edit magazine that she wore two corsets day and night for three months to try to get back to the weight she was at before she had her daughters Haven and Honor sounds, well... horrible.

"It was sweaty, but it was worth it." She admitted: "It was brutal; it's not for everyone."
FYI, Honor and Haven were born at the beginning and end of summer, respectively: Even worse. I'm imagining trying to sleep in 95 degree heat wearing that straight-jacket they wrap Hannibal Lecter in from Silence of the Lambs.

1. Grilled Peaches with Honey and Greek Yogurt
Cut one semi-firm peach in half and remove the pit. Marinate in a half-cup of white wine with one teaspoon of dried thyme for 30 minutes. Remove and pat dry. Brush the cut side lightly with olive oil and place cut side on a hot grill (or under the broiler) for two to three minutes, flip to the other side and heat another two to three minutes. Place on a plate, and drizzle with one tablespoon honey. Spoon a quarter cup of two percent Greek yogurt over the top, and sprinkle with one tablespoon slivered toasted almonds.

Whoa! Guys fall in love at first sight! When it comes to falling in love, a lot of guys fall hard: According to a new study of over 10,000 people, 48 percent of men say they've fallen in love at first sight, while only 28 percent of women said the same.

So are guys just more romantic than we are? I'm not so sure. Maybe men are simply more apt to feel those fluttery butterflies right away because guys are more visual creatures while women typically take some time to get warmed up. (Hey, just like during sex!)

At least for me, a man gets more-or less- physically attractive after I've gotten a sense of his personality and sense of humor. I'm totally projecting my own views on this study right now, but I would guess that the falling in love feeling many men report might have just as much to do with their hearts as their, erm, loins.

Lingerie, for men? When it comes to lingerie, guys don't exactly have many options: It's basically a choice of banana hammock, tighty-whities, or boxer briefs. (We're partial to the third one.)

However a just-launched line of lacy duds for dudes seems to be filling the void. The HommeMystere collection features teddies, padded bras and delicate man-thongs. In fact, the line specifically targets straight dudes: The website depicts guys and gals fooling around pre-sexy time in coordinating skivvies. (See above. Yes, that is a real photo of a man-cami.)
Now, we consider ourselves pretty darn open-minded when it comes to sex. And we appreciate the fact that this company is making frilly lingerie tailored to guys' bodies for dudes who are into this sort of thing. (To each his own when it comes to pleasure of the flesh, we say!)
But, try as we might, we're not all that turned on by the image of a dude in a matching bra and panties. In fact, we'd probably be more than a little turned off
