The Internet - especially social-networking sites like Facebook - is the greatest thing since, well, the Internet! But it's also the greatest tool that stalkers and obsessive creeps have ever had to track their victim's every move. You may have hundreds of friends on a social-networking site, but you should let only a chosen few in on the day-to-day happenings of your life. Luckily most sites have privacy settings - and you

Despite a huge outcry among young women (including many of you!), Congress passed a bill last week that would cut off Planned Parenthood from federal funding. (That money helps give women access to affordable birth control, pap tests, breast exams, and screening and treatment of STDs.)

According to the wedded guys we talked to, it's usually a small act or fleeting moment that makes them want to go the distance and pop the question.
      By Bethany Heitman

She Could Pull Off a Surprise

"When Sarah and I first got together, I mentioned how I had always wanted a first edition of my favorite book, The Great Gatsby. Two years later, on our anniversary, we were out for a nice dinner, and she surprised me with a copy of the novel from when it was first published. She had found one, saved up money, and bought it. I was blown away. I honestly hadn't even remembered telling her about my wish. But she had listened, tucked away that information, and years later, tracked down a copy for me. A few months after that, I bought an amazing ring - with help from her sister - and proposed." -Steven, 31

Q: I can't afford a headboard for my bed. How do I lose the dorm look?

      A:
Paint a headboard! It is cheap and takes no time at all. Choose a color that complements your bedding, and paint a large rectangle right above where your bed sits. Then, with a contrasting color, paint a 3- to 4-inch border around the rectangle.
