Late last week, there was an uproar about a padded bikini Abercrombie Kids was selling. Honestly, I didn't even have to read the story. I have stated before that I am not a fan of 2-piece swimsuits for little girls. First of all, there's the whole sun exposure issue, but also I just don't think there's any reason for a child to be showing that much skin.
That being said, I do have a 2-year-old daughter and I know that Abercrombie is not the only brand marketing ridiculous swimsuits to little girls. If you think a padded bikini is appalling, isn't this Kate Mack bikini just as bad?
I actually like a lot of Kate Mack's clothes for girlsthe MO, but really? Does my toddler really need a sequin triangle top? I'm sorry, but I think not.
