A misunderstanding leads the toys to daycare, where a whole new adventure begins, complete with a new 'bad guy' (who knew teddy bears could be so evil?). I was flipping through my InStyle Magazine and found a great holiday travel tip. You know those lightweight reusable totes you always keep in your bag? Well, here's another nifty use for them: if you're flying anywhere for the holidays, use them to protect your handbag, diaper bag, kiddo's bag, you name it when you're stowing them under the seat. Are you ready for it to be Christmas already? I am. Don't get me wrong, I'm no Scrooge, but I am just about gifted-out.

I must admit, though, I am excited to see my daughter open Christmas gifts for the first time--yes, all three of them. But I was thinking last night, is this the time to institute a family Christmas tradition? Last year, she was too young (and sick, as luck would have it) to care one way or the other, but this year she understands there are gifts for her.

Problem is, she'll have no idea Saturday is the day she gets to open them. So it's up to her dad and I to somehow mark this special day, right?
