There are some celebrities I love and others not so much, but I'm really indifferent toward Gwen Stefani. She seems like a relatively good mom that spends lots of quality time with her boys, so I really have no beef with her. Except that she spent $75 for those boots little Zuma is wearing.

Okay, let's be honest, there's a 99% chance she actually received these boots for free, but the point is the boots cost $75. And they look like part of a Halloween costume.

Suffice to say, these boots are not my style and I would never, ever, spend $75 on them, but what about you? Would you spend $75 on shoes for your baby? Would you spend $75 on these shoes?

A six-hour red-eye flight with a 15-month old on your lap isn't the most ideal way to end a family vacation, but after two weeks in paradise, who am I to complain. What kept the ride semi-decent? My trusty Rockin' Baby Sling.

Last week I got a sneak peek at Old Navy's 2010 holiday collection. While I was busy obsessing over an adorable pair of ruffled mary janes, though, my boss was wondering what message Old Navy's super skinny jeans might be sending to little girls.

Old Navy is definitely not the first brand to manufacture skinny jeans for little girls, but they very well may be the first to have sewn the words "super skinny" right into the jeans. I get that super skinny references the style of the jeans, but you can't help but wonder what little girls will think every time they slip them on.

Of course, I love skinny jeans, and they look adorable on little girls. But should we be calling them something else for impressionable young girls who already have enough pressure to be thin? Weigh in in the comments.

Ironically, Old Navy's super skinny jeans are available in plus sizes, so at least they're attempting to be inclusive of all sizes and body types despite the unfortunate product name. I
