It's like your maternity wardrobe starter kit-the set comes with four essentials you'll wear throughout your pregnancy (and afterward, too). It's not cheap, but it does contain four pieces - which works out to about $41/item (much more reasonable, especially considering you can repurpose the pieces after you give birth).

Visit our Maternity Shopping Guides for more advice on what to wear when you're expecting.

      Here's what you'll get:

The wrap dress is a maternity staple. The silhouette accommodates your growing belly, and this one is it's really flattering and feminine.

The ruched tee is made from the softest material that feels great against your skin, and the ruched design is more flattering than a super-loose cut.

      Even if

Did you know that over 20 million plastic baggies from school lunches go into landfills every day? I will admit that until recently, I contributed to all that baggie buildup, but now I'm hooked on Lunchskins.

Lunchskins was motivated by the need for a more environmentally-friendly alternative to plastic baggies - the pouches are made from the high-quality fabric that's used to store pastries in European bakeries, and they're a perfect size for snacks and sandwiches (not to mention lead- bpa- and phthalate-free). They're dishwasher-safe and mean to be used over and over again, unlike those plastic baggies.

Even better Lunchskins are really cool looking. Check out some of our favorite designs below - definitely prettier than that tired transparent baggie.

The snack bag retails for $8 and can be used to store anything from cookies to fresh fruit.

The sandwich bag is $9 and is available in seven prints in tons of colors - we like this unisex blue print.

    • High End Diaper Cream: Is It Really Worth It?

      Balmex ($13)

      or

      Triple Paste ($25)

When I was a nanny in the 90s, as far as I was aware there was only one diaper cream choice you had to make: you decided between Balmex and Desitin. But now, as with everything else, there are oodles of ointments-almost every baby brand out there seems to offer one-and the price range is huge. Some are organic, some are unscented, some are creamy, some are thicker…but if you look closely, you'll notice that almost all of them are zinc oxide-based.

So far, my approach has been this: For the everyday jar by the changing table, the less expensive brands serve me just fine. However, I'll admit I have some of the really pricey stuff for when my daughter has a particularly angry rash - it does seem to heal it miraculously fast.

What about you? Do you covet the costly creams, or stick to the standbys

Share your diaper cream of choice in the comments.
