    • Runway Looks Us Non-Fashion Models Can Wear

True or False? Runway styles only look good on the runway. A real woman can't really pull them off. My answer? False.

OK. I'm not delusional. I know some runway looks are crazy, like nipple-bearing shirts and bondage-inspired dresses. But, there are also a bunch of trends that are totally wearable. For example, some of this spring's biggest trends are sportswear, tribal maxi dresses, soft pastels, and neon. (Check out the whole list here.) Completely doable. The same goes for hair and makeup.

When we saw these R2-D2 Toms on Pinterest, we went nuts. (Click here to see our top 11 Pinterest people to follow.) They were the perfect blend of nerd and cool, a fashion accessory both quirky and unique. And they just so happened to celebrate one of our favorite movies. What more could you want in a shoe?

This got us thinking about other nerd-tastic fashions. While some of us go nuts over intergalactic warfare, we know a bunch of people who feel the same about mathematical theorems or typography. (We got you covered!)

      Math Nerd: Pi Cuff
This metal cuff, designed by Karla Wheeler, is super fashionable, and contains the first 480 numbers of Pi. We're pretty sure you can't wear it to a Pi memorization contest (yes, they do exist), but you can

    • 4 Weirdest Eco-Friendly Fashions

Thanks to the green movement, more people are taking time to buy products with the environment in mind. (Earth Day is April 22nd, BTW.) And while most products, like reusable grocery totes, sanely promote a healthy planet, some take the idea of going green to the extreme (see what we mean here). No surprise, they all come from the fashion world.

Sorry, but weaving sweaters from pet hair creeps us out a lot. And a solar power bikini won't be on our shopping lists anytime soon.

Trust us, even those with the greenest intentions will want to skip these environmentally friendly fashions, which are slightly more wacky than wearable. Scroll down to see the four weirdest eco-clothing items we found, or click here for more weird green products, along with their saner counterparts.

      Solar Power Bikini

This solar power bikini can recharge your iPod or cell while you soak up the summer sun. You can also wear this futuristic design in the water. And unlike some eco-crazy products,

    • Can You Wear Runway Looks in Real Life? 4 Women Try

Though I love fashion, even I have to admit there are some runway looks that are just silly. (Muppet dress, I'm looking at you!) And it doesn't end with the clothes either; fashion designers send down some ridiculous hair and makeup styles. That's why I'm always impressed when I notice a real woman on the street wearing a runway style -- and looking amazing in it. Suddenly, I see the possibility within the craziness.

This spring, I found the hottest runway trends (see them all right here). Though I loved them on the catwalk, I had no idea how the trends would translate into real life. Would they ever see the light of day or would they flop? Luckily, the dreaded flop did not happen. As I watched girls around the city, I've seen some of those trends in action, like pastel hair, pops of neon, and bold brows. And I've got the photos to prove it.

    • How to Dress for Your Summer Music Fest

After months and months of waiting, this weekend marked the beginning of Coachella -- California's largest outdoor music festival. (If you missed it, no worries. It's next weekend too.) And while I love outdoor concerts, I have to admit, I was more into the fashion, hair, and makeup looks than the music. After all, Coachella has become known for its ability to spark trends, as much as is about launching new bands.

Knowing that Coachella isn't the only festival to have this style impact, I decided to do a fashion and beauty roundup of the biggest summer festivals in the country: Coachella, Burning Man, Bonnaroo, and Bumbershoot. Check out some of the looks below or click here for the full story.

    • 5 Beauty Products to Put You in a Summer Spirit

I have discovered the foolproof way to cure a bad mood: Go to your local CVS/RiteAid, pick up a bottle of Coppertone Sun Tan Lotion, snap open the lid, and take a deep whiff. That smell? It's summer -- carefree days, ocean swims, and boardwalk fries.

If Coppertone sunscreen can send me to that happy place, I figured there must be more beauty products out there that also capture those warm, sunny months. After some searching, I found ten products that evoke that summery vibe, and not just through scent alone. Tropical colors, sea swept hair, smooth skin, and candy-flavors were other big harbingers of summer. To check out my picks, scroll down for the first five, or click here to see the entire list.

    • What's the Best Beauty Advice You've Ever Heard?

It was eighth grade, gym class. We were sitting on the floor watching a fitness video when my BFF Marly pulled out a metal contraption and stuck it in her eye. "It's an eyelash curler," she explained, "You need to curl your eyelashes every day." Then, she stuck it in my eye. When I looked in the mirror, I knew something very important had happened. My eyes looked bigger, and not as sleepy as before. All these years later, and I still use an eyelash curler every day. In fact, I feel incomplete if I don't use it. It's that necessary to my beauty routine.

As far as beauty advice goes, that ranks as the best tip a friend ever gave me. But, I wanted to see what my fellow editors had to say on the subject:

"Never use silicone-based anti-frizz products on curly hair. Silicone repels moisture -- exactly what curls need. This advice has transformed my curly hair." -- Meghan R.

"I met Paula Dorf eight years ago when I was

    • 5 Craziest Movie Role Transformations

Everyone was buzzing when photos of Anne Hathaway's new crop cut hit the web. Known for her thick, long chestnut hair, this came as quite a shock, though it was soon revealed it's for Anne's latest movie role. (She's playing the character Fantine in film version of "Les Miserables.")

      No. 5 Renee Zellweger

For "Bridget Jones' Diary," Renee Zellweger packed on 28 pounds in just a few months to play the lead role. How? She reportedly ate 4,000 calories a day to get Bridget's famous curves. Though Renee quickly lost the weight, she signed on for the sequel, and had to gain weight again. Now, with a third installment in the works, it sounds like Renee will soon be back on her high-calorie

It might seem silly to buy a bra just for t-shirts, but trust us, you need one.. Since summer is the time for tees, full-coverage bras in smooth fabrics like satin or silk help minimize any lumps or bumps while keeping everything smoothly in place. Just skip the lace options -- those definitely won't lay flat.

    • 5 New Ways to Wear a Belt

My boyfriend always wears a belt. I, on the other hand, do not. I own one belt that just sits in my closet, mocking my fashion confidence every time I look at it. The truth is … I don't know how to wear one. Yes, you can put it through the belt loops, but what else? What if your outfit doesn't have loops? Or maybe you want to wear one of those low-slung belts? And when should you wear a skinny belt vs. a wide one? So many questions.
