Thanks to the green movement, more people are taking time to buy products with the environment in mind. (Earth Day is April 22nd, BTW.) And while most products, like reusable grocery totes, sanely promote a healthy planet, some take the idea of going green to the extreme (see what we mean here). No surprise, they all come from the fashion world.

Sorry, but weaving sweaters from pet hair creeps us out a lot. And a solar power bikini won't be on our shopping lists anytime soon.

Though I love fashion, even I have to admit there are some runway looks that are just silly. (Muppet dress, I'm looking at you!) And it doesn't end with the clothes either; fashion designers send down some ridiculous hair and makeup styles. That's why I'm always impressed when I notice a real woman on the street wearing a runway style -- and looking amazing in it. Suddenly, I see the possibility within the craziness.

This spring, I found the hottest runway trends (see them all right here). Though I loved them on the catwalk, I had no idea how the trends would translate into real life. Would they ever see the light of day or would they flop? Luckily, the dreaded flop did not happen. As I watched girls around the city, I've seen some of those trends in action, like pastel hair, pops of neon, and bold brows. And I've got the photos to prove it.

After months and months of waiting, this weekend marked the beginning of Coachella -- California's largest outdoor music festival. (If you missed it, no worries. It's next weekend too.) And while I love outdoor concerts, I have to admit, I was more into the fashion, hair, and makeup looks than the music. After all, Coachella has become known for its ability to spark trends, as much as is about launching new bands.
