I've got a confession to make: I. Hate. Packing. For instance, this past Memorial Day weekend trip? My suitcase pretty much consisted of this fashion staple (hey, it was the easiest thing to pack) and, like, ten pairs of these.
Sooo, obviously, I can't imagine picking out 40 different outfits for a single trip. Which is what Kate Middleton is doing for her first-ever trip to Canada this month. And rumor has it that she'll be picking out all 40 outfits herself -- without a stylist's help.
Think it's another celebrity wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen? (Hopefully it's not as bad as one of these.) Granted, Kate probably has way more clothes than I do, but that still doesn't sound like much fun to me ...
What do you think? Would you ever be willing to pick out 40 outfits by yourself? Leave your thoughts in the comments below.
Here's a little help for Kate and anyone getting ready for a trip:

My motto this summer is simple: "I want a dress, and I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on one."Read More »from Best Summer Dresses -- from $9 to $99
Hmm ... maybe if I chant it enough, it'll come true (trust me, desperate times call for desperate measures). I'm just sick of flipping through the racks to find the cheapest dress in the store and trying to ignore the evil stares from the workers when I walk out empty-handed.
Luckily for me, stylist Stephanie Prommer heard my plea and helped me find dresses that fit every budget and price range, starting from under $10. (See? Chanting your motto works ... you should try it sometime.)
And for all you bargain shoppers out there, here's a tip: Prommer recommends shopping at stores like Target, H&M, Old Navy, Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe for cheap dresses. Then, instead of blowing all of your savings on one dress, you can use that money to buy two or three dresses from the gallery below. Click here to see all of the dresses we found.
Guys, I'm in a seriously bad (hair) place. I don't want to admit exactly how long it's been since I got a haircut, but I will say that it was somewhere around the time most people contemplate breaking out their Christmas decorations. Yikes.
As if that wasn't bad enough, this quiz doubly confirmed what I suspected: I really, really need a haircut.
In my semi-flimsy defense, I've been really busy these last few months. Too busy to spare an hour at the salon? No, probably not. Too distracted to remember to call and make an actual appointment at said salon? Yep, that about describes the situation.
Now, I need your help. I've finally got an appointment (yay!) so I would love your input on two things:
1. Share the longest you've gone without a haircut so I can feel a little less bad about my slackerness.Read More »from Reader Poll: Are You Overdue for a Haircut?
Last weekend I attempted bathing suit shopping. I grabbed a handful of spandex and headed for the dressing room. As you probably know, the underwear-under-a-Brazilian-cut-bottom look isn't exactly pretty. After a few tries I gave up, grabbed some Cinnabon and vowed to never go bathing suit shopping

Who else is totally ready for summer to get there? I just bought three cute bikinis and four summer dresses, so I'm all shopped out ... until I get my next paycheck, at least.
So for my next "cost-free" summer project, I think I'm going to try out a few summer hairstyles. I love braids -- my only problem is deciding which one to try first. Help me out, which of these styles is your fave? Leave a comment below with your vote!
A. Nicole Kidman
B. Tinsley Mortimer
C. Nikki Hilton

If you don't like braids, then leave a comment with your idea of a perfect summer hairstyle instead. As long as it doesn't look like any of these, I'm sure you're fine.Read More »from Reader Vote: Which of These Braids Are Cutest for Summer?
I've been accused of looking like I got dressed in the dark before, but generally I do my makeup in front of a well-lit, magnifying mirror. What can I say? I like to see what I'm working with.
So when this beauty dare was brought up, I cringed inside. We're seriously going to put on a full face of makeup without any light or mirror? Visions of lipstick on my teeth and mascara wands jammed in my eye haunted me until the day of the challenge. And I wasn't the only one who was scared (as these videos prove).
Fortunately, the actual challenge was scarier than the results -- you can check out audio of us doing our makeup here -- but I think I'll be sticking with my lights and mirror from now on. We've seen tons of celebs and fashion models getting on board with this summer trend. But would you actually go bra-less once the weather gets less, well, nippy?Read More »from Going Bra-Less in the Summer: A Do or a Don't?
On the one hand, you've gotta admit -- it looks quite airy and refreshing, but it's also a prime opportunity for a wardrobe malfunction like one of these.
It's easier for smaller-chested girls to get away with it, being slightly perkier than most. But for those of us who are, er, larger in that department, we can't really just let the girls flop around without any support, can we? And you obviously don't want to go braless in the workplace, unless you're one of these women. (True story.)
All in all, I'm still torn on this issue, as I'm sure many women are. What about you? Would you ever go bra-less when the weather gets warmer?

Crystal the monkey (you may recognize her from the posters and ads, she's the one holding the liquor bottle).
Normally animals in clothes kind of weird me out, but how cute is she? That dress is adorable and she seems to be having a good time. What do you think? Too precious for words or should she have gone with this outfit instead?

First things first: please don't tell me that's an acceptable hairstyle. It looks like there's a wispy, cheese-y bakery bun sitting on top of her head ... going into meltdown faster than eyeliner on a hot day.
To be fair, that's exactly how my hair looks when I wake up in the morning. But I'm usually pretty good about running a comb through it before leaving my house, at least. I don't understand how celebrities -- who have real stylists -- can actually end up on the red carpet looking like this.
Same goes with all of these celebrity hairstyle disasters. It's like they didn't even try. Or they just want to drive us crazy on purpose (especially this one. Seriously?!). Click through the gallery below to see why we hate them so much (we say them, but we really just mean their hairstyles).

I still remember the nightmare I had about starting my first summer job. I walked into a room full of co-workers in the middle of orientation ... wearing nothing but my underwear.
