Last night, I was lucky enough to attend the launch of Kimberly Snyder's book, The Beauty Detox Solution. Tons of celebrities came out to the event (including this hot star, who looked amazing as always), and I got the chance to run into one of my favorite celebs, Drew Barrymore.
It actually took me a while to recognize her -- not because I was star-struck, but because her trademark blonde hair was gone. Instead, she was debuting a new, gorgeous shade of red! We've seen her wearing this ombre trend for a while, so the new auburn shade was a total shock to see (it's definitely different from all of these hair colors she's ever rocked before).
What do you think? Do you like her new red color or her two-tone look better?

I'm the first to admit that fashion often confuses me. Sure, I've got my 13 wardrobe essentials down and I've even attempted some runway looks in real life (with, shall we say, interesting results), but frankly, I just don't get Solange Knowles' outfit here. I'm hoping you can help.
First, let's break it down:
You've got the floppy hat and what's essentially a bikini top -- this says "beach time" to me.
But then you've got the high-waisted pants and long, crochet sweater -- this says "I raided my mom's closet" to me.
I'm trying to add it up to something chic, but I'm just not getting there, how about you?

Ummm, did anyone else notice how ridiculous Emily Browning looked at the premiere of "Sucker Punch"? I mean, we're all for playing with makeup and trying new looks -- but come on. The glittery eyeshadow, her overly bronzed cheeks and those lips? I'm thinking the usually adorable celeb should've stuck to one of her trademark looks instead .
I thought this might really be the worst makeup we've ever seen, so I did some serious searching ... which is how I found these other worst looks (yes, there can be more than one worst in our book of beauty felonies).
Coming in at No. 5: Christina Aguilera's Unblended Shadow
Aguilera is charged with applying a multi-hued eyeshadow look (sort of how Rihanna's eyeshadow looks here). Which is totally fine ... if you blend the shadows well. Unfortunately, she didn't, which resulted in clearly defined bands of color, a makeup artists' worst nightmare.

By BeautyRiot Diva | Fashion – Fri, Apr 8, 2011 1:29 AM EDT
I know; it's a tough one. Especially when there are gorgeous reds like these and all the new hot pinks and cool coral lipsticks out there. But it's hypothetical question time, so put on your thinking caps and answer this:
If you could only wear one shade of lipstick for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
I'd have to go with the shade that best matches my skin tone (you can find your own match here): a light coral shade. That said; it would be hard to pass up these new lip colors.

Who else was surprised to see Carrie Underwood wearing pink extensions during her performance at the ACM Awards? It's something I would've expected from this celeb, but Carrie usually keeps it more natural and, well, just blonde.
Regardless of whether or not you like her look here (hmm, I'm not sure what to think about that outfit either), you can't deny Carrie Underwood has the perfect trademark look -- based off this gallery of gorgeous hairstyles she's worn over the years.
All judgments aside: Would you ever get crazy highlights? If so, what color would you pick? Tell us what you think about Carrie's risque look by leaving a comment below.

Having medium length hair can be hard (especially if you're in love with a look like this). I've been growing out my hair for a few months now, which means I'm always looking for hairstyles that actually work with my hair.
Then I found these 14 gorgeous hairstyles for medium length hair, and I couldn't believe how perfect they were. It's like they were made for us. Nicole Richie's beachy waves
This really is the perfect hairstyle for shoulder-length hair. Not only do the waves add body, they're so easy to style. Here's how to get the look:
1. Start by parting your hair slightly to the side as soon as you get out of the shower.
2. Apply wave enhancing cream to damp hair, and blow dry your hair using a diffuser to bring out your natural texture.
3. When your hair is halfway dry,
