    • What Would You Do If You Won the Lottery? I'd Do This

Fantasy time! I like to daydream about what I'd do if I won the lottery (well, if I ever remembered to buy lottery tickets). Aside from the usual house, cars, charitable fund in my name, paying off those pesky student loans, I have to admit that I'd blow a lot of that cash at the spa. I'm obsessed with massages, manicures, getting the perfect haircut (here's how you can do it). Of course, my current financial state makes these treats a rarity.

Buuuut, if that jackpot ever comes in, I've already got my list of spa treatments already picked out. Check out the top 18 spa treatments -- the craziest, weirdest, most luxurious, awesomest ones around -- and tell me what you would do if you won the lottery. Anything from this list?

No. 18: Relaxation and Hydration Transformation at Sahra Spa at The Cosmopolitan, Las Vegas
What it costs: $170 (not that I'll care after my jackpot, but just for reference)
What it is: Basically a session of detoxing and massage to get rid

    • What Guys REALLY Think About Our Fashion Trends

A few months ago we asked real men what they thought about our makeup and hairstyle choices. They gave us completely honest opinions on a variety of our favorite looks, ranging from this makeup look ("It looks like your eyes are leaking upward") to this popular hairstyle ("Your great-aunt called and wants her hair back").

Hmm. If they feel this way about our hair and makeup, we can only imagine what they had to say about women's fashion. So we picked some of the most popular fashion trends we've been seeing (and we ourselves have worn them more than once, we'll admit it) and asked 93 guys to weigh in on what they like and what they can't stand seeing.

Click here to read some of their shocking (scathingly honest) comments. For a sneak peek, check out what the guys had to say about their three favorite and least fave trends.

Best #1: Adrienne Bailon's leather jacket

      Here's how the guys voted:
      Like it: 93%
      Hate it: 7%

Here's what they had to say: "Always a

    • Our Golden Globes Hairstyle Predictions

Full disclosure: I'm an awards show freak. As in, TiVo-ing the red carpet pre-show, pausing it to check out people's looks, watching the awards from beginning to end, checking out the post-show highlights, and looking at recap galleries online the next day.

Why am I so obsessed? Hard to say really. I think I just love the glamour of it all -- the gorgeous gowns, the elaborate hair and makeup, the inevitable train wrecks (like these, yikes). And maybe I'm just a little jealous that I'm not getting all dressed up for a fabulous party -- although I can copy the looks at home with these tips.

Whatever the reason, I've taken the obsession to a new level this year: predicting which hairstyles the stars will wear at the Globes and photoshopping the looks on to them. I know, I know, I need help, but it was so much fun! Check out my guesses below (and by guesses, I mean what I'd love to see them in), and tell me: are you an awards show nut too? Will you be watching the Golden Globes

    • Steal Taylor Swift's Makeup and Hairstyle

Even though I'm old enough that I could have been her babysitter, I have a slight obsession with Taylor Swift. I can't help it -- the girl is gorgeous, I love her curly hair, and I totally want to steal her boyfriend (and I'm not the only one).

So I was pretty psyched when I actually got to see her -- yep, in person -- at the CoverGirl 50th anniversary party. She looked stunning, and of course I had to get the scoop on how to recreate her hair and makeup ... uh, not that I'm trying to look like her or anything ...

(Side note: Since Taylor is the newest CoverGirl her makeup artist used their products exclusively, but I'm pretty sure you could totally rock this look with what's already in your makeup bag.)

Here's her makeup how-to from Makeup Artist Lorrie Turk:
I prepped her face with CoverGirl Simply Ageless Serum Primer and applied CoverGirl NatureLuxe Silk Foundation in Alabaster with a brush and blended with a sponge. You can also apply the foundation by mixing it

    • My First Crazy Hair Dare Of The Year

OK, I'll admit it: When I find a shirt I think is perfect for any occasion, I wear it to death, all the while telling myself, "I'm seeing a different group tonight that will never remember it." Then it happens: I encounter the one random person who crosses over between party crowds and remembers how much they loved "that shirt." Dangit.

So this year, my resolution is to switch things up. I'm staying true to my favorite shirt, but I'm throwing in 30 different hairstyles to throw the crossovers off. I think even an outfit from this list will be a lot less noticeable if my hair looks completely different, don't you?

After a lot of experimenting, I came up with a month's worth of party-worthy hairstyles (just in case I need a few on hand). My six favorites are below, but click here to see the entire gallery and how tos for each of them.

      Day One: Top Knotch

I am very self-conscious of wearing my hair slicked back tightly. So this style pretty much tested all my strength -- Read More »from My First Crazy Hair Dare Of The Year
    • Finally -- A New Years Beauty Resolution You'll Love

I've got a confession to make. I love the holidays, but my excitement majorly dies down as New Years Eve approaches. Why? It's my least favorite night of the year. At least it was, until now.

Don't get me wrong. I totally enjoy hitting up all the parties and drinking tons of champagne. (And of course I love prettying up with these hair and makeup ideas and trying on different party outfits.)

It's just that I know I have to make a resolution to avoid looking like a slacker next to all my friends. So I throw out a few lame ones (which may or may not include laying off the sweets and hitting the gym more often). Two weeks later, I'm gulping down a Snickers bar while my gym membership card collects dust in my purse. Ugh.

So this year, to avoid feeling like a failure, I've decided to change things up a bit. Instead of the usual hard-to-keep resolution, I'm making a beauty resolution, one that I'll actually be excited about.

Curious? I took this quiz, and it factored

    • Help! I Can't Primp Surrounded By My In-Laws

This year is a first: my future in-laws are coming to our apartment for Christmas. Which I'm very nervous, er--excited, about, except for one thing ... we only have one bathroom. Yep, one bathroom for four adults, and a few other guests who will be stopping by during the day.

Nevermind the fact that we'll need a timetable for morning showers, how the heck am I going to pluck my eyebrows (not to mention the stray upper lip hairs -- come on, you know you get them too, that's why there's this guide to getting rid of them), clip my nails, even apply makeup and style my hair with any kind of privacy?

I'd rather not run into my future father-in-law in my pajamas with morning breath and my hair sticking out every which way, so I'm reaching out to you lovely ladies for help. Do I just set the alarm ridiculously early so I can primp in peace? Suck it up and accept that they might see me with my amazing-but-hideous-looking acne spot treatment on? Anyone else in my situation?

      Also,

    • The Most Make-Out-Worthy Man of 2010

Around our office we get into some pretty deep conversations. Our most recent one started when we put together our 2010 celebrity yearbook (see it all here). We quite civilly discussed and voted on our picks for cutest couple, best dressed, most likely to succeed and a few other fun, end-of-the-year categories.

Things started to heat up when we had to pick the "celeb most likely to star on a reality show" (my choice ultimately won, and I was far too excited about it). But it went to a total meltdown when we had to pick one -- one! -- guy as the "celeb we most want to make out with." I told you, we're a deep bunch.

I'm not proud of us, but for full disclosure, here's what happened: first, all actual work stopped. Then, the campaigning began. Some of us had verrrry strong opinions on who it should be and began bombarding the undecided's with links to pictures, movie/TV clips, you name it. When that didn't work, we resorted to a mature (ha!) shouting match until a vote was

    • What Does the "Perfect" Face Look Like? We Find Out

I know I'm not alone on this one: flipping through a magazine or an article on celebrity makeup and thinking "ugh, I would love to have Angelina Jolie's lips, or Jennifer Aniston's nose, or, uh, Natalie Portman's face …"

Of course, some people take it a step further than jealous daydreaming and actually head to the plastic surgeon armed with a picture of the celebrity body part they must have. And apparently, it's more common than you might think.

Dr. Daniel Slaughter (and yes, that's his real name, I checked) told us which celebrity facial features are most-requested at his office in Austin, Texas. You can see the full list here or just keep reading for a rundown -- they're all gorgeous celebs, but it got us thinking. What would happen if we took all of these features and put them on one face? Would you get the "perfect" face -- or a Frankenstein-like mess? The answer … well, you'll have to click here to see it.

In the meantime, let's see which celebrities have the most
