Stick to a long-ish bob (er, lob). You don't want too much volume, so ask for layers that fall right below your chin to remove bulk from the sides. A side part like Ginnifer Goodwin has here will also help with roundness. You could also go a bit longer, as long as you keep your sides sleek.

I always thought my boyfriend had pretty good taste (he picked me after all!), until I asked him what I should get for my next haircut. He picked out this look -- which could not be further from my style, and frankly, made me question how much he really knew me. He thought it looked sexy, I thought it looked reminiscent of a homeless teenager. Fortunately, these guys backed me up in my opinion (see what they had to say here).

Which leads me to my question: Would you ever let your guy pick out your hairstyle? What about a new hair color? Do you think he'd have good enough taste and hair smarts to choose something you'd love? Or would you wind up looking like a pin-up girl or Megan Fox clone?

Full Disclosure: I looooove hair accessories. I have a whole drawer in my bathroom dedicated to headbands, clips, etc. But, I do think this trend is getting a little out of hand. My proof: this graphic below.

It's got the whole range from adorable (Nicole Richie) to "are you freaking kidding me?!" (Sarah Jessica Parker and Lady Gaga). I mean, come on, a giant spider web on top of your head or a huge bow made out of real hair, how is that acceptable? Maaybe if you're an international pop star known for her crazy outfits, but what's SJP's excuse? Last I checked, she wasn't singing "Poker Face" in front of a stadium of screaming fans.

I'm a brown eye shadow, peach lips kind of girl. (Hey, if it looks natural, it works for me.) But sometimes I wish I could have fun with my makeup without looking like a circus clown (ahem, like this celeb). Since I'm not quite ready to take the plunge, I dared my friend Charli to try a new makeup look every day for an entire month (see if she survived here). She's a makeup artist, so I thought she should be able to come up with some good ones that I could copy.

I was thinking uber-glamorous makeup today. I went for a deep brown smoky eye using black eyeliner, dark brown shimmery shadow and matte beige shadows -- all by MAC -- and finished the look with a peach-pink lip gloss.

Here's something you may not have known: June is National Acne Awareness Month. Surprising? Not really, since acne tends to flare up more in warmer weather. What is shocking is the fact that more than 60 million Americans have acne and haven't found a treatment that works.

If you're one of those people, you know how hard it is to get rid of acne. You and I both can try every acne cleanser, peel and medication in the store and still see no sign of clear skin. (At this point, I'm so stressed out that I do this to calm myself down. Hey, you don't need to be zit-free to get this kind of pampering.)

Personally, I'm not too sure if Proactive really works (although based on her commercials, it seemed to work on this celeb). But after trying some of these products instead and following these 10 tips religiously, my skin actually got a lot clearer in just two weeks. Don't know about you, but when I get my haircut, my stylist and I spend most of the time chatting about our boyfriends and celeb gossip. But, according to Harry Josh, International Creative Consultant for John Frieda, that's the exact opposite of what I should be doing -- whoops.

His reasoning: Your hairdresser is a goldmine of info about your hair, figuring out your face shape, styling products and techniques and you're cheating yourself if you don't grill him or her for the details while you're sitting in the chair.
