Yeah, yeah, I know nude nails were hot for a second, and I still say they're great for work, but come on, could the be more boring?

That's why I'm so psyched for the latest and greatest nail trend (that all these celebs are sporting): bright nails, nails with crazy designs, fake nails, basically anything but boring ol' plain nails.

Don't you love how Alba's polish pops against her green dress? Definitely makes a case for not matching.

But then again, Perry shows that using the colors of your dress on your nails can look pretty fab too. She's got some funky designs going on -- and proves that your nails don't have to be demure if you're wearing an outrageous outfit.

I know I'm not the first or the last to say this, but guys are weird. Take this example: Saturday night, I was rocking a sexy dress and this gorgeous makeup look and I had to prompt my boyfriend to tell me I looked "nice" (btw, I looked waaaaay better than "nice," thanks to these tips).

Cut to Sunday morning. I'm heading down to pick up coffee with absolutely no makeup on, my hair in a baseball cap, wearing jeans and an old t-shirt. What does the boyfriend say? "You look really pretty today." Totally unsolicited compliment! Does your guy ever do that?

You know the looks we're talking about ... the ones that make you go "OMG, seriously?" For me, it's a toss up between these seriously bad makeup looks and metal grillz (you know, bling bling on your teeth). OMG. Seriously?!

While I take a moment to think good thoughts (take a deep breath, aaaand release), tell me yours. What's the one trend that you just can't stand? From what you've seen on the runway, on celebrities, and on regular, not-so-normal people you pass on the street, there's got to be something you wish you could erase from your memory.

Or maybe you're like these women and you're more daring than we could ever be. Then spill! What's the craziest thing you've ever done or worn?

And I just have to ask ... would you ever bring back this hair trend? Hmmm ... maybe a few of the do's but definitely not the dont's.

Raise your hand if you want to be sexier. Yep, that's what I thought. Even though we're already lookin' good, we would all love a little extra edge when it comes to sexiness, right?

Tip No. 1: De-fuzzing is a must

I already had my best friend picked out (Jennifer Aniston would be perfect, not as much in looks but totally in personality), and my boyfriend (Ryan Reynolds … well, at least I wish), but I was stumped for who would play me.

But then I took this quiz that tells who your celeb twin is and now I totally know (it's this actress, love her!). OK, so I don't look exactly like her, I wouldn't say she's my doppleganger, but we do surprisingly have a lot in common: We're both part Mexican, we both say our favorite color is blue, we were both ranked no. 1 on Maxim's Hot 100 list … er, OK, maybe that one was just her.

So now that I've put together the cast of my big screen bio-pic I just need to do something worthy of a big screen bio-pic, hmmmmm … (For some reason I don't think my 7th grade science fair win or my vacation to Florida are going to cut it.)

We already know that celebs can rely on the magic of Photoshop to fix any flaws when they're at a photo shoot. But what about on the red carpet? The paparazzi would just love to catch a shot of them looking less than perfect, so they need to bring their A-game.

Secret No. 1: Wig Tape Keeps the Girls in Line

I've done some pretty crazy dares in my time. There was the naked run around the block, the prank phone call to the mayor (who did not appreciate my suggestion for "Free Cupcake Friday," whatever), but this one takes the cake.

What was the dare? To wear a completely different hairstyle, every day, for 30 days. Sounds easy? It so wasn't (even with these looks for inspiration). Because it was my first day, I decided to chronicle what my hair would look like at any given time. It's a tough one. We've shared 9 reasons to love Simpson, but Alba has an awesome fashion sense (check it out here), and Biel dated Justin Timberlake and rocks some sweet hairstyles (like these) … we could seriously go on in circles like this forever.
