Larry Busacca/Getty ImagesThough they've maintained a fairly low-profile relationship, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel mark yet another failed Hollywood relationship. After a tumultuous three-year run, Justica (OK, we just made that up) have split, and naturally a mutual friend went running to tell US Weekly that they've called it quits. And not only that: the source says Timberlake broke up with Biel over the phone about a month ago and Biel is in "severe denial and won't accept" the breakup.
Three years and you get dumped over the phone? Let's hope that's just a rumor--we'd like to to think Justin is a better dude than that. But perhaps he's not. Timberlake present his William Rast clothing line in New York Fashion Week recently and "was clearly on the hunt." Supposedly the star was getting dirty on the dancefloor at a club with a tall blonde in a short black dress. She was so stunned at what was happening, she mouthed to her friend, "Oh my God." Back in June, Lindsay Lohan Twittered that Timberlake was

Paul Richards/Getty ImagesThe 40th anniversary season of "Sesame Street" will feature many celebrity appearances from the likes of Cameron Diaz, Eva Longoria Parker, Ricky Gervais, and as was just announced yesterday, first lady Michelle Obama.Read More »from Michelle Obama gardens on “Sesame Streetâ€
Obama will be teaching the kids and puppets about gardening on the show's premiere episode. The first lady has a green thumb--she planted the first garden at the White House since World War II. She grows 50 fruits and vegetables that are often used in the White House kitchen.
On "Sesame Street," Obama will plant tomato, cucumber and lettuce seeds. "All these seeds need to grow are sun, soil and water," she says on the show. "If you eat these healthy foods, you're going to grow up to be big and strong, like me. I know you're going to like these vegetables, because in addition to being healthy, they really taste great!"
So cute! We love that Michelle is making herself available to kids and teaching them about gardening and eating healthy. Tune in to PBS on November 10

X17/Getty Images/APSome celebrities, like Amy Winehouse, Donald Trump or even Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, have famous 'dos they'll never change. But have you noticed that some stars change their hair about as frequently as they change their underwear? And we're not talking about a little casual highlighting or texture experimentation with a styling tool. Some ladies go short, long, dark, blonde, and dark again all within one month's time!Read More »from Dear celebrities: We're bored of your "shocking" hair changes
We all know women who love changing up their look, and it doesn't have to be solely for attention--sometimes it's just fun! But the fact that so many stars change their hair over and over again makes us wonder if it's a deliberate publicity move since they now realize media outlets are likely to report on it. (How many times have you read a story about some celebrity's "shocking new 'do"?) But they have the cash, and access to the best stylists and colorists in the world, so why not, right?

As far back as we can remember, there haven't been any good or even moderately OK tampon commercials. Whether it's the red dot rolling around your screen or the "pearl girl" jingle, they've all been stupid and borderline irritating. When it comes to marketing tampons, it's almost a dying battle. No one wants to buy them, but you need them. Do you really have a strong opinion on brands? Maybe. It's sort of like how you know whether you prefer Coke or Pepsi, you stick with your first choice, and perhaps one day your friend gives you a sip of her Dr. Pepper and you like it, so you decide to switch. In other words: creating and watching commercials for such products both usually suck. All the more reason to appreciate Tampax's innovative ad starring tennis champ Serena Williams.Read More »from Serena Williams makes the first bearable tampon ad maybe ever
The battle between Serena Williams vs. Mother Nature is no contest (duh), but the commercial is far from predictable. While there is no mention of cramps or bloating, there are references to.. wait for it...
Wire ImageAs a fan of Jay-Z, I really enjoyed seeing him on "Oprah" last week. It's not often you get to see the hip-hop mogul do a more serious interview that goes beyond discussing his music. Lucky for us, Oprah also got him to submit his own personal reading list to O, The Oprah Magazine. Below, six books that made a difference to Jay-Z:Read More »from This week in books: Jay-Z’s book club
1. The Seat of the Soul by Gary Zukav
Is Jay-Z kissing some butt? We recognize this author's name-he's a regular guest on Oprah. After overcoming personal problems and addictions, Zukav discovered spirituality, and his words have touched many people. Jay-Z says he lives by this book. "If every single person felt the same way about karma and intention, then the world gets fixed tomorrow."
2. The Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield
This book is a little New Agey, but it's written as fiction. A man journeys to Peru to discover and understand the principles on an ancient manuscript and undergoes a spiritual awakening. The message extracted is about life paths.
Chris Jackson for Getty Images/APWhy does it always seem like matter how many closets and dressers full of clothes you have, you always end up wearing the same few things? Whether you're feeling lazy, uncreative or just out of clean clothes, it's easy to fall back on a favorite outfit. But would you wear the exact same thing twice in one week? What about if you knew you were going to be photographed and had your picture all over the internet?Read More »from How often do you repeat outfits?
Anna Wintour repeat the same ensemble in London while attending the Luella and Meadham Kirchhoff fashion shows on September 21 and again three days later at Giorgio Armani in Milan. As the editor in chief of Vogue, she is a fashion icon that everyone in the industry takes note of. So why did she choose to wear the same dress, coat, shoes, and accessories three days apart? Is Wintour's designer wardrobe suffering from the recession? Did she lose track of outfits? Was she packing light? Did she think that by being in a different city no one would notice? Perhaps she just did not
We love a great wedding movie. The romance, the dress, the planning, the in-laws--some of the best wedding films add a heavy dose of comedy to the marriage preparations. Soon-to-be-wed Khloe Kardashian (she's marrying Lamar Odom of the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday) just wrote a blog post about her all time favorite wedding movies. She's still filming her reality show, and after only one month of dating about a week to plan a huge wedding bash with a celebrity guest list, we'd be willing to bet her own reality show will capture some fascinating and hilarious moments.Read More »from The 10 best wedding movies
"Getting married or not, I always LOVE wedding movies!" says 25-year-old Kardashian. "There are so many genres - happy, sad, romantic or funny, I love them all! So without further ado, I give you my Top 10 Wedding Movies!!!"
1. "Father of the Bride"
2. "The Wedding Planner"
3. "My Best Friend's Wedding"
4. "Maid of Honor"
5. "Fools Rush In"
6. "Clueless" ("wedding at the end LOL," she writes)

Darren McCollester/Getty ImagesRenee Zellweger famously went on an eating binge to bulk up for the "Bridget Jones" movies, but for the third upcoming film she may be opting for a fat suit. It seems that the actress is concerned about how long it took her to shed the extra weight after the last film wrapped in 2004, and is worried about the effects of all the rapid weight gaining and losing she's done over the years (if you'll remember, she also dropped a ton for "Chicago").Read More »from Why Renee Zellweger won't be gaining weight for “Bridget Jones 3â€
Actors always talk about the addition of fried foods, donuts and milkshakes to their diets when taking on the role of a heavier character. We'll admit that while packing on pounds for a paycheck does sound fun--not to mention delicious--to read about, we do not envy all the work it must take to get rid of the extra junk in the trunk, around the middle, under the arms, and everywhere else the flab likes to hang out. Now imagine having to do that three times! Sure, Zellweger has trainers and nutritionists to help her, but we can't imagine having

Dr. Sanjay Gupta getting treated for Swine Flu in AfghanistanMany of us rely on CNN's Chief Medical Correspondent. Dr. Sanjay Gupta, for health advice on a regular basis. Well, despite all his medical knowledge, he contracted H1N1 (aka swine flu) on a recent trip to Afghanistan. He took a few days off from work and this morning he blogged about the ordeal for CNN.com.Read More »from Dr. Sanjay Gupta gets swine flu: Is there hope for the rest of us?
Gupta himself noted it's sort of ironic for a medical reporter to contract the illness. If a doctor who is aware of the symptoms and precautions one must take to avoid getting the flu, how can we normal folks steer clear? Does it tarnish a doctor's credibility for him to get a disease when he's been warning us about how to prevent getting it ourselves? Of course not. But we did mini-laugh at the headline, "I went to Afghanistan and all I got was H1N1," before feeling very sorry for the guy.
Gupta described his sudden symptoms as "high fevers, the lack of appetite, terrible sinus congestion, body aches, and yes - that hacking." Though those sound like characteristics of the common
Tyra showing off her If you'll remember back to Tuesday, September 8, I spent the afternoon live-blogging the premiere episode of "The Tyra Banks Show" on which she unveiled her "real hair." I know both myself and Fashion + Beauty Editor Jennifer Romolini feel Tyra can be totally over-the-top, annoying and horrible, particularly as host of "America's Next Top Model." But I admired Tyra for taking the opportunity to show what her real hair was like. I appreciated her for explaining that women shouldn't be slaves to their hair and spend so much money and time and energy fixating on such a superficial thing ad embrace their real hair. Despite the fact that she has worn "weaves and wigs and pieces and clip-ons and clip-outs and clip-downs and around" since her teens, Tyra promised that she would be rocking her own real hair on the show for a while. Pretty cool, right? Except that Tyra lied!Read More »from Tyra Banks duped us: Her hair is SO not real!
Tyra went on "Larry King Live" last night, and amongst other topics, she once again was asked about her "real hair."
