Angelina Jolie applies lip gloss during the Golden Globe Awards. Photo via NBC/INFphoto.comIn addition to seeing what the stars wore to the Golden Globes, we also loved seeing their fancy hair and makeup, and specifically getting the inside scoop about the products they use. Which perhaps is why women became so obsessed with the few seconds of footage where Angelina Jolie applied her own lip gloss. Seriously.
Ladies turned to the internet, wondering what is this incredible product that Ms. Jolie applied so nonchalantly to her famous lips as if she were some mere mortal?
We have found the answer! Jolie's makeup artist for the Globes and on the set of "The Tourist," Toni G., told UsMagazine.com that her lip gloss of choice is Chantecaille Brilliant Gloss in Love. In fact, the actress frequently wears Chantecaille makeup on the set of her movies and on the red carpet to show off her plump pout. Toni G. said the gloss "maintains lip moisture and is fresh and sexy. Just re-apply and go!"
The lip gloss costs $28, and naturally it is already out of stock on Chantecaille.com

Attractive bridesmaid offerings from Rent the Runway WeddingsThere are some strange wedding traditions we'll just never understand. Why does the groom get his own cake shaped like a baseball field, cheeseburger, or fishing pole? Why must the groom remove his bride's garter with his teeth in front of all their loved ones? And worst of all, why do brides insist their bridesmaids wear and pay a lot of money for ugly dresses that they will never be able to wear again (stop fooling yourselves, they will never be re-used)? Well, that last tradition is about to become a thing of the past, since Rent the Runway just launched a bridal department. For those unfamiliar with the site, Rent the Runway is free to join and browse, and rather than shelling out big bucks for a designer creation, you pay a small fraction of the retail price to borrow it.Read More »from Yes! Horrible bridesmaid gowns are gone forever!
"Bridesmaids dresses are the quintessential dress women only wear once," Rent the Runway president and co-founder Jenny Fleiss said in a release, "with Rent the Runway Weddings, we'll finally solve the '27
photos via RackedLogos can be very important, as they help you identify a brand. They signify a certain lifestyle and quality, and when we see a logo we recognize it reassures us since we have pre-conceived notions of what this brand is. Many people consider logos to be a status symbol, and rather than buying a designer bag of a specific color or pattern, they opt for one with an unmistakable all-over logo print.Read More »from Fashion that makes us sad: designer logo devotion
How do you feel when you see a logo bag from Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Dior, Fendi, Coach, or Dooney & Bourke? Do you feel like you know something about the person carrying this bag, based on their desire to carry a bag emblazoned with one of their logos? And how would you feel if you saw a person TATTOOED with a designer logo on their flesh? We think it gives a new meaning to the term "fashion victim." [Racked]

ThinkstockA new study of 3,000 women conducted by Superdrug found that one in three women refuse to go out in public without wearing makeup. As in, they can't even run out to the grocery store or to pick up their kid without makeup on. Really? Nearly half of all women say they prefer to wear cosmetics than to show their bare face. But what's the most shocking of all: one in ten women polled said they would never ever let their partner see them without a full face of makeup on.
Sara Wolverson of Superdrug told the Daily Mail: "For many women, putting their makeup on is an important part of their day, and the thought of people seeing them without can be horrifying. We know that when it comes to cutting back, cosmetics are seen as an essential. Wearing and buying cosmetics is not about vanity. It's about giving a woman confidence to succeed in every area of their life."
But really, how is it that some of these women will be intimate with their Read More »from Are you addicted to makeup?

L'OrealIn the age where celebrities attach their name and likeness to just about any product for a buck, we've gotten tired of seeing famous stars pimp themselves out for nonsensical or lazy collaborations. But today we heard about a new celeb endorsement that rocks.Read More »from An endorsement we can get behind: Gwen Stefani the face of L’Oreal’s lip color
Gwen Stefani will be the new face of L'Oréal Paris. Her first job? Shilling the brand's Infallible Le Rouge lip color. We can think of no better spokesperson, since the rocker is known for her prominent red lipstick.
"I love playing dress up, on stage or shooting videos, it's always been one of my favorite parts of being in a band," Stefani told People. When asked how she feels to be filling a role once held by the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Eva Longoria and Beyoncé Knowles, Stefani said, "To get to work with such a modern, talented group of people is really exciting. I'm a lucky, lucky girl."

Getty ImagesFuture princesses: they're just like us! Or so Us Weekly claims. We have noticed Kate Middleton has a penchant for independent designers and affordable clothing, but apparently Price William's fiancee loves getting the max for the minimum price. "Believe it or not, Kate's favorite shop in the U.K. is TK-Max [the UK version of T.J.Maxx]," a source told Us. "She loves to shop for bargains, mixing and matching high street clothes and designer. She has a great eye for that."Read More »from Kate Middleton’s favorite store: T.J.Maxx
Though Middleton is in a high-profile position with all eyes watching her every move, she doesn't have a stylist and doesn't appear to be a fashion snob, and we definitely appreciate that. The late Elizabeth Edwards loved the same discount retailer and according to her daughter, "she knew every Target and T.J. Maxx from coast to coast." We have to admit, T.J.Maxx has done an awesome job of revamping their image to a place where you can really score awesome designer deals.

TiretThough watches are becoming obsolete, a designer watch is still considered a status symbol. But if you're a wealthy egomanic Kanye West, a standard Rolex or Cartier isn't good enough. No. You need something more unique. More extravagant. More absurd. And much more expensive. You need a watch... with your own face on it!Read More »from Kanye West’s $180,000 watch has his face on the face
Kanye commissioned this one-of-a-kind watch from Tiret, who claims it took them over five months to create. The gold watch features a gold-toned mother of pearl face with a combination of white, yellow, brown, and black diamonds. Large diamonds circle around the bezel as well, adding to the total of about 8 carats of diamonds.
The price of such an accessory: $180,000. The price of having your face on your watch face: priceless.
