    • Humpty Dumpty is Having a Great Fall

As best I see it, here's what's happening. The gazillionaires are going to have to crash. They're so good at making money and building power, but they're terrible at withdrawing from it. The average person has his/her ups and downs, but it appears the rich and powerful have empires which won't so easily crumble. This is what your wars are all about: crumbling empires. I think the Good Lord is doing some empire busting right now. He can do some economic repair as soon as He is finished busting the Humpty Dumpties off their wall.

    • Two Classes of People

Basically, there are two classes of people. There's the ordinary people who are getting by somehow, then there are the filthy rich and powerful. The ordinary people have the ability to stick around because they do ordinary things, like eat ordinary food, and take ordinary care of themselves. The rich and powerful tend to over consume everything, do not take proper care of themselves, and do themselves in. What they are facing is serious power and economic withdrawal, something like death and taxes. They tax their health and are not particularly safety conscious, so even if they live longer, they face power withdrawal (death) like you'd never believe. Once they climax in power and wealth, it's all downhill from there. There is no escape from power withdrawal. They cannot deceive everyone else, and they cannot deceive themselves. If they share, that takes the burden off their chest. But chances are they won't, so they're stuck in Hell. I'm sorry, but Hell is not the good life the rich

    • Use a Little Magic

Last night in my dreams, I figured out how to fix the economy. First, print more dollars, then make the dollars worth more. It's gonna take a little magic to do this.

    • Just a Smidgen to the Right

Last night in my sleep, the Good Lord talked to me. He said we live in a land of the paradox. While pursuing our higher nature, the lower nature tends to get in the way. If we pursue our lower nature, we then revert to the higher one. While the universe tends to be bi-polar, I believe the optimum is just right of center.

    • Respect the Grizzly Bear!

A couple of days ago a group of survival trainees had a near death encounter with a grizzly sow and cub. I've had a near death encounter with a grizzly too while firefighting in interior Alaska. There's a couple of tips I'd like to share. First, I never like to be close enough to a grizzly to trust bear repellent. Next, when out in the woods, do not become separated, travel as a close group and make lots of noise. We weren't allowed to carry firearms, but we usually had a helicopter close at hand to scare bears away. Also, do not go camping out in the wilderness if you smell like you just took a shower. If you reek as bad as a bear, that may be plenty enough bear repellent. Finally, if a bear jumps on you, you might say a prayer to Jesus while playing dead. Do not try to fight a grizzly; an argument only enrages the bear. Usually a wild bear will keep its distance, it's the ones used to people and garbage or people food which will kill you. Generally, it's a good idea to have bear

    • Get Your Act Together!

Let's tell the President and Congress to get their act together; otherwise, there may be 100 million homeless.

    • They Got You Comin' and Goin'

You know what's wrong in this country today? There is no incentive to work. The rich and powerful control everything, probably through the use of sophisticated computer programming, so the bottom and middle class have no chance. Hence, the lack of incentive to make a buck or two. We're not talking about greed at the bottom, we're talking about a general failure of willpower.

    • "Something is rotten in Denmark"

I have a gut feeling that "something is rotten in Denmark." I may be right. Wait until the dung hits the fan!

    • The Basic Difference Between Heaven and Hell

The Law of Hell states, "the more you have, the more you want." So how do you satiate the pigs? You can reason with them to share until you are blue in the face, and they still won't. The answer is, you can't. You have to let them make their ungodly profits and pig out on rich food, excessive alcohol, and drugs until they poison themselves. No amount of counseling will effectively work. Because they have to understand that the profit motive itself leads them to poison themselves. In a state of Heaven, it's easy to share so everyone has enough; in Hell there is never enough until one makes him/herself sick. Jesus could not change this fact.

    • How About a Little Good Faith

Right now, as I see it, we have three (count 'em), three wars going, and the government is about to shut down shop. We may all have to shut down shop. Now, how about a little Good Faith?
