No, we're not talking about overalls and bucket hats--thank goodness. We've rounded up the fashion and beauty trends of the decade that made a splash and are back and better than ever.

Floral babydoll dresses -  Making a big comeback are floral dresses. These girly frocks made famous on shows like "Blossom" and "My So-Called Life," we like styling these looks with tights and either Mary-Jane platforms or of-the-moment ankle boots.
Let's talk about lace – Back then, it was body-conscious minis with lace panels and detailing were all the rage—now, we like those same kind of shortened-hem dresses with longer lace sleeves.

Do your ear(rings) hang low? – Shoulder-dusters,  door-knockers…whatever you called them, these oversized earrings were BIG in the '90s—literally. Today's statement-making earrings are still shoulder-grazing, but are more refined and restrained than the ubiquitous giant, embellished hoops.

Yes, her sleek, black and white Prabal Gurung halter gown was rather striking, and her stack of Lorraine Schwartz platinum and diamond link bracelets were not messing with us.

But from the collarbone up, you guys. That voluminous, blonde mullet. Those matte cheekbones. The points of her lips. Even her arched eyebrows, lightly rimmed eyes, and semi-serious gaze. It's unmistakable.

Bowie, too, is known to enjoy a high neckline. In fact, his sartorial choices have long been a reference point in the style world. From his famous pompadour, mohawks, glitzy metallic stage costumes, and leotards, to capes, three-piece suits, and great patterned jackets, he's made quite an impact. He also recently released his first song in ten years: 'Where are we now'.

Photo by Evan Agostini/Invision/AP Image - Taylor Hill/WireImageLadies and gentlemen, just one month into 2013, we have a new official haircut! The New York Times calls model Karlie Kloss' chin-length chop the "haircut of the moment," after a four-page spread appeared in Vogue.

Kloss' cut is defined by its just-above-the-shoulder, uniform length, which is a big contrast to her previous long and wavy hair.
Her hairstylist, Garren Defazio, is responsible for the idea, and a phone call from Vogue sealed the deal. “Her hair had been worn out from shows and shoots,” Defazio told the New York Times. “Vogue called and said, ‘Would you do a cut?’ and I said Karlie should be the one to do it on.” Kloss was a little reluctant to chop it all off, as she hadn’t had short hair since grade school, but her jaw-skimming cut with Jane Birkin-esque bangs is not only healthy, it’s setting a huge trend. Michelle Obama and Kylie Minogue have already been spotted with the chop.

Twenty-nine year old Mary Elizabeth Winstead may be famous for her roles in horror flicks like Final Destination 2 and and Grindhouse, but after a role in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and last year's critically-acclaimed Smashed opposite Aaron Paul, she's proven she's got indie chops as well. At this year's Sundance Film Festival, we're dying to lay eyes on Winstead, who should be there promoting her film, The Spectacular Now--same director as Smashed!-- in which she acts alongside Shailene Woodley, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Miles Teller. On screen, she's compelling and believable, and off-screen, she's stunning and covetously dressed.

On the red carpet, she chooses high-fashion over sexiness, and inspired, directional pieces over fads. An ivory, keyhole Chloe dress here, a Monique Lhuillier patterned sheath there. It was as if the attendees took their last real advantage of spunky, technicolor dressing before they had to get seriously glam for the Globes, SAGs, and Oscars.

At the People's Choice Awards 2013, there was sequin-adorned lace with coordinating fuchsia patent strappy sandals on Glee's ecstatic, award-winning Lea Michele. Her Elie Saab mini was embellished and contoured in all the right places, and her dainty Anita Ko jewels accented without competing.

Shay Mitchell of "Pretty Little Liars" was radiant in a black-and-white confetti-detailed creamsicle strapless party dress that she accessorized with black peep toes and a black clutch.
